Is Valuev vs Klitschko interesting again?

I agree, King would not risk it.

But I hadn't realized that King is still in control of Valuev. I guess when he resigned with King, that is still in efffect.

If Valuev were to get away from King, him unifiying with another titleholder would be far more likely.

But Valuev has to get his title back first.

 

i watched Valeuv this weekend and i personally can't stand him.

too big. There should be a 250+ division.

Fight someone your own size.

 

I think Klitschko v. Povetkin is more interesting.

 

Chagaev will beat Valuev again, he possess the formula to beat Valuev. He fights angles, he's a good counter puncher, has any easy time avoiding Valuev's bigger punches, it's easy to get on the inside and do get your shots in on Valuev, because he does nothing on the inside, he even refuses to lay his weight on his oppenents on the clinch to try and slow them down. Chagaev beats Valuev 8 out of 10 times, he has his number and evrything it takes to beat him, if they decide to fight again.

 

From what I saw, Valuev's chin is on par with Peter's - and Wlad will punch up, and Valuev maintains a decent workrate for 12 - not just stands there with a ******ed bulldog expression on his face.

So it may be more competitive then Wlad-Peter fight. Wlad UD 12.

 

klitscho wouldn't kO Valuev. He would win on points however in a exciting fight.

Valuev v White Wolf was a great fight for Valuev. He fought a good paced fight and won on all cards on my scorecard imo.I for one thought that dumping his old trainer was a really bad move... But I think hes adapting well this his current one.

After Valuev destroys Chagaev, he should target Wlad for a unification.

 

Valuev has a better chin than Peter.

Why do you think Valuev would destroy Chagaev? He's still very easy to counter and will have trouble with any high workrate counter-puncher. He faced a fat Lyakhovich who barely threw punches and showed bad defense, so he shut him out. I think Chagaev and even Ibragimov would still beat him. I'll be cheering for Valuev in the rematch though, Klitschko-Valuev would be the only fun Valuev fight to watch and it'll be the first real puncher he faces.

Chagaev has the formula to beat Valuev, unless he falls apart over night, the same outcome will happen as the first time they met back in April of this past year. I would only like to see Valuev win, if his next fights with Wlad, I like Chagaev and wish the best for him and hope he shows more skill in his next fight than what he did against Skelton.

 

I saw the Selton fight and wasn't really impressed. And yea your right, it was only Liachovich who hasn't fought in ages and extremely looked out of shape. But Valuev did put on a great show last night.

Well.... I don't think Valuev would destory him by way of KO, but I can see him outpointing him. Valuev looked great last night and he has improoved imo.

And im sure everyone would be cheering for Valuev, couse really .... who DOESN'T wanna see Valuev v Klitschko? :yep

Valuev can box, has a good jab and bigger than Wlad, this could be the hardest fight for Wlad rightnow.

Agreed. I hate it how even big fights don't get much coverage in the mainstream press.

The more casual fans who become serious fans ... the more money in the sport and the more interest in it ... and this translates into better outcomes for not just the top fighters but everyone involved on every level.
