Is Vernon Forest Forgotten?

Go watch the first Mosley fight. Great stuff. That version of Forrest would have beaten Floyd.

 

After that fight Shane had to start pumping steroids to get his confidence back. Vernon took his manhood from him. So after that fight Shane was a broken man and turned to drugs.

 

Forrest just had Mosley's number, but look at what Mayorga did to him and then beat him a second time although close and could have went to forrest, yet Tito and Oscar blasted Mayorga out of the water like he wasn't even there, and even shane struggled with Mayorga before he took him out with seconds left in the last round. Both Tito and oscar would beat Forrest, although I don't think it would be a dominating performance and I think tito would have more trouble before knocking him out later rounds.

 

Nope I'll never forget. Had the honor to watch him fight live.

 

I won't forget Vernon Forrest.

Any guy that distributes his tickets to disabled kids should be remembered.

Even better that he was a very good fighter.

 

Forrest avoided guys campaigning one and two divisions above him? Cool story.

 

He wasn't a boring fighter. He stripped all of Shane Mosley's confidence to the point where Sista Shane had to become a drug cheat just to get back some of what Forrest crushed!

 

Very good fighter who had a bad shoulder that limited his career.

Great fighter. Forrest, would have given any fighter in history a tough fight from 147-154.

 

Boring when exactly? (aside from Mora I & II)

 

From what I last read the guy who pulled killed Vernon was on death row waiting for his turn at the gas chamber/electric chair/poison injection!

Actually that's kind of a relief that he's being made to sweat it out and stare down the barrel of a gun for so long. Having been executed straight away would've been getting off too easy.

I just hope they aren't making him too comfortable while he waits.

 

I believe they convicted him early last year. Court cases take forever these days its a shame because it just prolongs the pain that the Forrest family goes thru. The killer now sits on death row waiting his turn to die.
