Too many losses against ordinary opposition and he got a gift over Quartey.

People who click "yes" are just showing sympathy...truth is, he just didn't do enough in his career. He had Mosley's number, but other than that...

    Not a chance.

No, honestly, if it was up to me... Mosley wouldnt make it either.

Forrest didnt stay on top long enough to be hall bound... Injuries did him in.

I really respected Forrest. He's really not a Hall of Famer but, pretty much everyone else gets in so I voted yes for what its worth. Someday he will get in...

    No I dont think so.

There are a few strikes I see against him.

He dominated what was a an atrocious lightweight division. There was not a single worthwhile challenger in there, though admittedly that is not Mosleys fault and he got them all out of there like he could. So he started off great.

Then he reached the top by jumping two divisions and beating Hoya.

But its all inconsistent from there.

Getting dominated by Forrest. Much better in rematch but not enough.

Goes to 154 - cheats to beat Hoya there. Im still trying to figure out why the result is not officially changed to a NC or even DQ. (I dont hate Mosley, buit doesnt logic dictate that the fight should be rendered invalid?)

Get dominated by Winky. A bit better in rematch, but far from enough.

Injuries and a return to 147 slow him down some.

Batters Vargas twice. I dont need to get into how shot Vargas was at the time. Those were just money makers for those two.

    Impressively beats Collazo.

Loses a close one to Cotto.

A win against Mayorga who is just showing up for a paycheck. At this point, this W hurts him more then it does him any good.

    Batters Margarito to a pulp.

And now he has a shot against Floyd.

Im sure you already know all the details of his career anyway, all Im saying is his inconsistency is too hard to overlook for me. The fact of the matter is that while he was in his prime, he has more big Ls then big Ws. A W against Floyd might change my mind.

No! He was a very very good fighter but all he has to base his career on are the wins over Mosley though the second one could've easily been a draw. People it's ok to be sympathetic because he got murdered by the hands of ******ed pricks who I have no sympathy over if they all died but let's be realistic. Junior Jones has two wins over MAB so should he be in HOF? Most definetely he could've had a chance at HOF if inactivity and shoulder problems didn't plague him but all in all he was very very good at his best.

Junior Jones is not a good comparison. The standard to get in the IBHOF is not strict enough to keep Forrest out.

Still, I see MAB going into the HOF(WHy wouldn't he?) and JJ beat him. My point was two wins over a great boxer shouldn't just automatically put you in the hall.
