Is Vic Darchinyan chinny? can Mijares KO the Raging Bull?

I dont think he will stop him but he is able to.

I think Vic is just as big a chance of knocking him out. Kawashima had Mijares a bit hurt, id rate Vic a bigger puncher then him.

 

I don't see Mijares knocking Vic either but I think he is capable of schooling Vic a la Arce.

 

Mijares is going to display a boxing clinic on Vic. He's got the potential to Ko Vic but not till the later rounds, after the 10th.

 

I like Mijares more by an impressive boxing display than a KO.

Vic could stop it at any time and wont stop trying - It's a good fight on paper.

 

This is going to be similar to Mijares' fight with Arce

Arce is really nothing like Vic.

Despite Vic's style he isnt as easy to tag as Arce is, especially now that Arce is fading.

He is awkward as all ****, whereas Arce is pretty straight up.

I think Mijares can stop him but I dont think he will, i think he will discover pretty quickly that smooth boxing and counter punching is the way.

A bit off topic, but between Vic and Arce who do you see winning?

 

I wouldn't consider him chinny. Donaire is a very hard puncher and he caught him flush on the chin when he wasn't expecting the counter. I'd say his chin is pretty solid. He took some decent counters from Maldonaldo and wasn't buzzed, and Maldonaldo fought to a draw with Mijares. Not that it means anything head to head, but its just soemthing to consider.
