I saw on our local boxing show that donaire, after his win over mtehlane, wants to go up to 115 because he can't make his weight anymore, and aside for that, he wants to have a 2nd fight with vic after he won over mijares.
But shaw, vic's manager, and nonito's former manager, doe'snt want it. His reason, as far as i can remember, he wants donaire to beg him for mercy just for the fight to happen.
Maybe because nonito broke up with him, but in fairness to nonito when he was under gary, he wanted to fight arce, mijares, the japanese title holders but gary did'nt give it to him. Maybe that's why he broke up with him.
But i still think that vic's camp wants their boy to stay off nonito's radar, coz if they wanted a rematch, they should have called it last year immediately. Remember when vic was interviewed in the ring after nonito's win? He was asked if he wanted to fight him again, nonito was open to the idea but vic was heard saying like a scared sheep: "no i think i still don't want to fight him."
I think most fans wants donaire-darchinyan 2. I think it would be a hit. Especially when both are on the roll lately(especially vic coming off rom a loss and a draw to z, which he really, imo, won.)
C'mon shaw. Enough of that lame excuse you wanted nonito to beg you off that fight. Coz in reality it should be you and your boy, who should be begging for a rematch after the humiliation nonito dealt with you.
To you esb posters, what do you think? Is vic's camp really scared of him?
Coz for me, imo, they are scared.:admin

Darchinyan wasn't even on Donaire's radar before his win over Mijares, and that was like 2 weeks ago. Get a grip.

Look at recent articles or local news clips bro. He wanted to go up and open for the possibility of a 2nd fight but shaw was interviewed and he said no.

    It's just plain and simple.

    Vic aint's scared of Donaire.

    It's Gary who is scared.

Yes the story is true, Nonito parted ways because Shaw doesn't give him good fights and only look towards Vic. Shaw was mad at Donaire because not only he left him, he actually KO'ed his favorite fighter and also resulted as KO of the Year 07.
Shaw only wants to boast Vic about his win against Mijares. The proving point was the thing he said that Nonito should beg like a dog for a rematch. In truth Donaire could care less about the rematch since he was the winner. It's them who should be begging cause they lost the bout. (Common Sense)
Shaw and Vic are both cocky ******* anyway. At least Vic bring his cockiness in the ring not only showboating.

Anyway in just a few sentence. Shaw wants Donaire to be the one to budge about the rematch so it won't show theyre the one whos begging for it.

And by going in the ring with him just proved that he doesn't fear anything.Donaire would have a hard fight against Vic.I'd favor him vs Donaire a second fight but Nonito might spark him again.Darchinyan is a warrior, nobody thought he would beat Mijares. He is great.

Omm Donaire wanted to fight Vic again...I saw an interview were he said he felt somewhat disrespected by Vic and would love to fight him again, and that was before his fight with Mijares.

Vic said almost immediately after Donaire knocked him out that he wanted to fight him again.

Vic is delusional, in a good way, he is one of those blokes who is seriously not scared to fight anyone.

I think most of you are'nt fighters or never were because fighters exspecially top fighters dont get scared in a sense of an apponant.

delusional or not they think their invinsible and that they are the best and want to avenge their losses, its a fighters instinct and those who fought woud know exactly what im mean!

fighters in a way are just pawns in an entertainment industry they have little or no say in where their career goes or who they fight, their job is to just fight who ever their manager thinks is best for them despite who they might want to fight.
