Is Vic ducking donaire

the fact is shaw did not put donaire in the ring to win. he put him there to get beaten to a bloody pulp by darchinyan so you can drop the donaire is ungrateful bull****. shaw does not care about donaire. putting a fighter at 112 from his promotion will get him more money than getting another fighter from another promoter.


you can also drop the "networks werent interested" ****. that was ko of the year and if you know boxing, kocking out of one the cockiest men in boxing. shaw just didnt put him in matches because donaire didnt follow the script. you'd believe everything that comes out of shaw's mouth. are you his son or something?

Shaw is ducking Donaire ... but I don't blame Darchinyan ... its one of those situations where a fighter excels further than the guy who beat him.

Williams dec. Margarito ... then Margarito goes on and beats Johnson, Cintron, and Cotto ... and becomes a 2-time champion in the process.

The same with Darchinyan ... he loses to Donaire and then picks up all the major belts in the junior bantamweight division and a top 10 p4p ranking.

 

that's true but it's too soon to say they'll never fight. i think donaire should start moving up too. there's nothing for him at 112. he should fight at 115 and forget about the belts. more belts will be up for grabs at 115 if vic decides to fight at 118 next

 

This will happen, just not now, shaw has other plans it seems. Vic is getting old. And want's retirement paycheck so he is set for life. Ya know to do that, is by fighting montiel and Eze. because big mexican support = good pay for Vic.

 

he was supposed to fight montiel in ppb till montiel decided to go to 118. then they changed in to a title defense also in ppv but the promoters in the philippines did not get enough money.

Spot on Sandman. I cannot for the life of me understand these guys who would seem to favour a guy who allows his wife to take charge of his career and turn it into a non event over a hard working multi champion maintaining an active schedule.

talk about facts? you said montiel-donaire was cancelled because they couldn't raise money, well you're wrong. montiel decided to go to 118 because he felt he cant make the weight anymore.

the money thing came up after that and it is not like people dont want to support donaire, it is because the scheduled fight is too close to pac's fight with hatton so advertisers are saving up their money for that

now, look, this whole thread was asking if vic was ducking donaire and the respondents rightfully said that vic isnt ducking donaire. gary shaw is. well gary ****ing shaw openly said that he will not give donaire another shot at vic when vic is openly saying that he wants to avenge his defeat.

then genious, what do you call even when the promoter of fighter A does not want his permit his fighter to be in a match with fighter B for his own selfish reason? it's called ducking.

i'm not saying that that vic should fight donaire next. i'm saying that his promoter will do everything to stop that from happening. 99% of the guys here also feel shaw is ducking donaire. so all of us are wrong and you are right mrs. shaw?

 

I don't think vic is ducking nonito BUT if he really wants to get his revenge and prove people wrong about his only lose where he did the chicken dance when something hit him which he seems to be not aware of, then he must show gary shaw who's the real boss. Unless he's a shaw puppy or something.

 

dude, donaire has been training his ass off in baguio for months now. he had to watch montiel go to 118 and so he got a new opponent, then the promoters could not get enough money so they moved the date and donaire continued training. then there was news that they really cannot get the money so the fightcard will be scrapped.

it is here that donaire decided that he'll go to the US and get a tune-up fight instead of wasting time waiting for the promoters in the philippines. if that is not wanting to fight, then nothing is. he and his teamd have been doing all they can to get a fight with the other champs and 112 even in their own countries but none of them want to fight. cut him some slack dude. fighting is his only way to get money so saying that is slacking of for the hang of it is totally baseless
