Last I saw, he was getting interviewed on the May Day broadcast. Said he was getting back in the gym, but didn't say he has a fight date.

His style is perfect for PPV undercards. He's all out, very entertaining.

Ortiz is always entertaining if nothing else. He has talent but sometime he flakes out or gives up in a fight. I don't think he'll ever win another title but I'd like to see him back in the ring as an opponent against maybe Andrade or Angulo at 154.

He is probably still licking his mental wounds after quitting in his tune up fight.
    Glass jaw
    Glass heart
    Glass ring IQ.

I think his jaw is permanently ****ed. It still doesn't look normal, and likely never will. We'll see when he takes a shot to the jaw.

I dont like him but I like watching him if that makes sense

I think his personality and behavior is just weird but he is in some great fights, for 4 rounds he had a very exciting fight with Mayweather until he mentally folded and left his guard down

All of his fights have been wars because he fights with a seek and destroy attitude, but when things dont go his way, Floyd, Maidana he packs it in

Berto was the one time he stayed tough but then again he always had the lead in the fight and in round 6 when he took the worst assault of the fight he ended the round with Berto on his back.

He is interesting vs any fighter 140 to 154 and can maybe shock people by upsetting a certain few guys out there because people will be underestimating him

Would he be man enough to get in the ring with maidana again, especially if maidana beat lopez on Saturday?

He is sparring and looks to be in good shape but man does he look big. I think a move to 154 can not be avoided.

  14. Maybe he just quit, like he does in his fights
