Jesus I thought everyone would see that this thread is just meant as a wind up! For the record my previous comments were sarcastic, If nielson fought vitali 100 times he would maybe make it out of the 3rd round 3times, Vitali was at the top when he retired, Nielson has never been in the top 10. I can't believe i'm answering this seriously now. Still a shame about Dicky Ryan though:yep

Probably - but 1:33 is likely to how it would look like at the bookmakers.

Why is this a joke? There has to be something said for a guy winning 45+ plus fights without a defeat. He was valiant in his effort against Tyson, was a decorated olmypian, and holds wins over such fighters as Jeremy Williams, Larry Holmes, Tim Witherspoon, Tony TNT Tubbs, and Orlin Norris. I wouldnt say Vitali has faced and beaten much better. Please someone tell me why Vitali would just destroy Nielson. His record and pedigree speaks for itself. :hey

While I can't argue with your logic here, having seen both of them fight I can't even imagine Nielsen beating VITLAY I'm afraid.

Nielsen did have a tremendous chin though from what I remember so maybe he could hang on and give VITLAY a dead arm and make him quit like Byrd did so in that respect he's got a chance.

    Agreed.

These worthless threads are started by those trying desperately to downgrade the return of King Vitali.

I think knowledgeable boxing fans know that Vitali is quite a bit better than Brian., this BS just gets them off. :-(

    King Vitali?
Based on their respective records, that simply isnt true. They fought similar competition with Super Brian having more wins. How can you say he was quite better?

Vitali would have destroyed him, toe-to-toe.

In achievements...well, Vitali was the man from 2004 to 2005 and beat 4 Ring Top10 contenders. Nielsen beat none.

    Well that's settled it then.

Vitali P4P All-time #3. Just behind Valuev and Tye Fields.

What made him the man...??? He won the championship by default, beating someone other than LL...something that in itself may have proven to be unimportant over time. However, it can't be overlooked since he never did **** after winning the default championship. He never established dominance over the division. He was not the man.
