Is Vitali Kiltschko an all time top 10 heavy weight?

Whether is washed up Peter or old/fat Sanders what difference does it make ???
Point is these wins are not impressive when you are talking ATG standards. Vitali has no case for Top 10 ATG heavweights.

 

I don't have Vitali in my top ten list but I certainly have him in my top fifteen. His thin resume is much at fault here.

Look man I am not gonna repeat arguments and have another 300 pages thread (you know which one I am referring to). You have made your case and it has been anything but persuasive. My final verdict is that Vitali ranks between Top15-20 ATGs Heavyweights.

 

This is LeBron James fanboy logic.

Stats are somehow more important than actual accomplishments and titles.

There are probably 15-20+ boxers who would barely lose a single round against Vitali's abysmal opposition.

 

H2H, he's top 5 all time.
Achievements wise, you could rank him at the tail end of the top 10, or between 10 and 15.

 

You are entitled to your opinion of course. I personally rank him Top15-Top20 ATG Heavyweights. But I concede that a case can likely be made for a Top10-Top15 ATG Heavyweight ranking.

Head to Head, I do not rank him Top 5. What is his best win? He could not beat an old and overweight Lewis. Perhaps low Top10 Head to Head at best. But I am not sure. More likely Top10-Top15 Head to head

 

He was ahead on points against Lewis until he got cut.
I am curious however who are the 10 guys that you think are better than him h2h.

 

Achievement wise Povetkin and Chris Byrd have better wins

Eddie Chambers
Dillian Whyte
Marco Huck .. All prime opponents too btw

Byrd:
Vitali
Dave Tua
Evander Holyfield
Jimmeal McCline

 

Having better wins is debatable and completely irrelevant if they also have many losses. Plus they never dominated their opposition the way Vitali did.
Nobody ever beat Vitali, he was ahead on the scorecards against every opponent he ever faced.
His only 2 losses are due to injury.
Byrd would have never beaten him if Vitali didn't get injured.
And if Lewis would have beaten him, it doesn't diminish Vitali, since Lewis is a top 5 all time great.

Byrd didn't beat Vitali, Vitali got injured and was dominating the score cards before that, it's laughable to give Byrd credit for that.
And Holyfield ?!? He was past his best when Byrd beat him, again Byrd cannot be credited for that.

 

How can you say that nobody ever beat Vitali when Lewis shreddered his face? Vitali got hit by multiple overhand rights and his defensive flaws were exposed in that fight. That is a fair stoppage. That is boxing

 

Byrd and Povetkin took loses because they stepped up and fought top level competition.

Vitali fought 25% of the worst HW division known to mankind while his brother fought the other 75% of it. He still managed to lose twice.
Worst of all is he NEVER beat anybody better than the two guys he lost against. Thats a fact.

Spare me the excuses. Byrd took the fight on ONE weeks notice. He was MORE disadvantaged than Vitali. Still won. And Vitali never wanted a rematch.
Realistically his achievements don't rank any higher than Deontay Wilder or Brian Neilsons.

 

I do not have the time right now and Vitali would be a handful for every oppenent of course. Ali, Holmes, Lewis, Tyson Fury, Bowe, Foreman come to my immedate mind who I would quite confidently pick over Vitali
