I can see why people would consider Bowe the easiest fight for him of the four..... but on the flipside he could also be the hardest.

Lewis isn't the best inside fighter (nowhere near as good as Bowe) but he still banged Vitali up on the inside - Bowe has a good jab and excellent uppercut.

He (Klitschko) gets put through the ringer and is rescued by his corner in the mid-rounds :smoke

Wladimir rates more highly than Vitali simply because of the latter's "rest"...

Both break into top 30 of Heavyweights with Wladimir maybe pushing top 20.

No. Ultimately the only thing that can make you an all-time great fighter is achievement and record. H2H does come into it, but its a much smaller part as its far too subjective. It's like writing out a CV explaining how good you are without any grades or work experience.

He never was undisputed champion, he's never beaten other great fighters, he's not really even beaten good enough opponents consistently like his brother has.

He's fought exactly one decent fighter and one very good one and he lost to them both. Do I really need to expound on this?

I respect the way he came back from injury and did what he did.
VERY awquard nights work for anyone, his style wasn't very pleasing on the eye, but he was effective.

I'll go with NO tho as he's a victim of the state of the division Had he been around in the divisions better days, who knows what he could've done, i certainly wouldn't be as dismissive as most.

Can we atleast have some proper grammy in this thread. 'An ATG Champion.'

Also your list sucks balls, no Patterson or Schmeling yet you've got Earnie Shavers and Ron Lyle?

Bowe is an AWFUL matchup for both Klits, for reasons I have been over numerous times. Horrific matchup.

I know that Shavers and Lyle are not the top ATG fighters - but they are both murderous punchers of all time.

    Espcially Shavers.

    And Patterson ? - Floyd Patterson - ? - I dont think he is a ATG at all. :-(

    Like Beeston says I think.

It could go both ways - could be Vitalis easiest fight out of the 4 big 90's heavyweights.

Or it could backfire and be his hardest out of the 4.

I remeber Bowe smashed up another big unexposed hype fighter in Julio Gonazalez the much hyped undefeated Cuban. Alot of hype around him.

But I certainly think Vitali has proven that he is more than just hype.
