Head to head greatest when he was stopped by the only great fighter he's ever faced? Obviously that seems a bit of a reach, care to amplify?

Are you having a ****ing laugh? When Haye beats Vitali, you must surely think he'll be the GOAT then? I can't wait to see what you say when Haye lays the dude out: 'Vitali was old', 'Haye is on roids', 'Haye is black so he won't get any credit off of me'!

    You make me laugh, Ruskull:good.

Of course not. Nobody said it was.

Unfortunatley for him, that's how he's going to be remembered though.

His best fight was a legitimate loss and the rest aren't much to talk about. Doesn't sound much of an ATG to me.

I did vote for him as a Hall Of Famer though!

He's the best of a bad bunch. That must be worth something.

The term "ATG" is based an individual opinion-period. Of course he's an ATG based on head to head matchups.

Injecting race into the issue only makes you out to be a racist. Congrats, ******.

Also, there's just as many here in this thread that agree with me as those who don't.

............and then you have the ballz to claim Haye, a fighter who clearly backed out of fights with both brothers & ran against Valuev is going to KO a fighter who has never even been down.

    Who's laughing now jackass?

Depends what you mean, which tier are you placing him, Ali`s tier, Holyfield`s tier, what ?

He`s one of the 2 best of his era so yes probably, his record is good, he`s never been KO`d & his comeback to win a title with no tune-up was outstanding.

    I voted ATG.

This post makes alot of sense.

Tyson gets a spot around top 10 all time simply because he was the youngest HW Champion ever, so it would seem that being able to win back the WBC belt after a 4 year retirement without a tuneup would rank Vitali pretty high himself. That & the fact that Vitali is one half of the first brothers to share portions of the HW title at the same time. That's being 100% serious with what they've accomplished.

That ridiculous the way you throw "stopped" as if Lewis KO'd him with a single punch. That would've changed the dynamic quite a bit no? You aren't being fair to say it the way you did. Lewis cut VK with punches so it was a legit stoppage but let's not claim he was KO'd shall we?
