He wasn't saying that that he isn't in the top 25. But to say it's better than some of those era's is laughable.

Has he ever even been the recognised champion :huh

I suspect he'll be remembered along the same lines as Tommy Morrison or Francesco Damiani, once all the nut-hugging stops.

Ah, apparently this douchebag thinks he's all knowledgeable since he posts in the "Classic" section. Very impressive. :rofl

I think he's definetly up there, but based on his resume alone, nowhere near the top 10. As far as him being one of the toughest HW's ever, sure. Absolutely.

    I disagree 100%.

Larry Holmes era was pure rubbish. He fought the likes of Tex Cobb & Jerry Cooney..................imagine if Vitali would've fought Tex Cobb & even worse, couldn't KO him.

    In no order.

    Ali
    Louis
    Marciano
    Liston
    Foreman
    Frazier
    Louis
    Johnson
    Dempsey
    Tyson
    Holyfield
    Lewis
    Jeffries
    Walcott
    Langford
    Willis
    Patterson
    Sullivan
    Fitzsimmons
    Corbett
    Wladimir K
    Tunney
    Schemling
    Charles
    Bowe
    Baer

All could easily be justifiably ranked ahead of Vitali.

The Duke was only the WBO Champion & for a very short time.

Vitali won that belt & the WBC, returned after a 4 year retirement to win the WBC back and be the first to stop Samuel Peter. He's defended multiple times & maintains an amazing KO percentage all while being one half of the first brothers to hold World titles at the same time.

You already knew that though & still you saw fit to type that BS, you should be ashamed.

I guess Vitali is as close to unbeatable as there is in the heavyweight division right now including his little bro

Cue a Buster Douglas style KO.....

Jerry Cooney? Cooney is better win than anything on Vitali's resume.

Now add Norton, Shavers, and Page to that list. Crumbles VK resume.

I can agree with this but I'd put his resume in at 20-25 since he returned from a 4 year layoff to win the WBC by TKO without even taking a tune-up. It's the first time in boxing history that a boxer was able to do this. Did I mention that he was the first to stop Sam Peter?

Corbett? Sullivan? Fitzsimmons? Jeffries? Since very little fottage is available of those fighters I guess you're about 150 years old right?

Tunney, Bowe, Schmeling, Charles, Baer and many others are quite arguable either way.

I expected you'd have to delve into the very distant past to compare...............

Definitely a big step below Corrie Sanders in athletic talent - throws like a clumsy oaf in comparison
