No I don't follow. Holyfield & Tyson fought at damn near both their primes & Holy kicked that ass TWICE. Try watching the fights before commenting on them. Mike was reduced to blatant & unprecedented cheating did you forget?

He's a great fighter. I think a lot of ATG's could beat him but he's definitely up there in the top 20-25 at least.

He would destroy the man in your avatar. . .TKO/KO 5,6,7 or 8.

Also, as Butch's post pointed out and as I have in an extensive thread on the subject, the supposed "Golden Age" of boxing greats never faced guys from Cuba, Central Asia, Russia or Eastern Europe. Does any1 honestly, honest to God believe Jack Dempsey, Jack Johnson, Marciano, or Joe Frazier could bang with Vitali toe-to-toe?

I only see Ali, Foreman, prime Tyson, prime Louis, Lewis, Holmes, and, maybe, and a big maybe, prime Tua and prime Ibeabuchi as having a legit shot at beating Vit K and I'd bet on Vitali against several of these guys I just mentioned.

Head to head, top FIVE alltime.

    Overall, a top TWENTY.

  14. I have him top 10 ever right now above Lewis and others, and I think he will reach to 5 before he retires. He would be top 5 aleady if my for those few years off and he's making up for lost time and I know he will ruin that loud mouth ***git Kevin Johnson just like he did Kirk.

So by that logic Gerry Cooney would rank higher than Larry Holmes, since Larry took exactly FIFTY TIMES AS LONG as Gerry to eek out an SD over Norton, as Gery took to demolish him.

And of course, your logic would put Big George well ahead of Ali, based on their respective times needed to deal with smokin' Joe.

And at least a hundred other examples of the flawlessness of your thinking.

Back to the old drawing board, eh ?
