You're shooting yourself in the foot there. There are at least ten names on your list which are better than any on Vitali's w-record.

I`d rank him on a par with Frank Bruno, very similar fighters with decent jabs, power who had equally poor footwork and stand bolt upright.

Although prime for prime I would say Bruno knocks Vitali out.

It depends on how you define greatest? Head to head? I think so.

Does he have any boxing records? Yes, best KO%, best rounds won to round ratio among heavyweight champions, one of two former heavyweight champs never to be floored by a punch, and come back at age 37 with nearly 4 years off and no warm up fights to take his belt back.

:good I agree!! Whilst his resume is not sufficient for him to be considered an ATG, it is not his fault that he has reigned in an era devoid of any great fighters for competition. I believe that he would have been an extremely dangerous and competitive opponent for any heavyweight, apart from (IMO) a "Peak" (60's) Ali, which does compel me to consider him to be an ATG.

I think a fighter is usually based lagacy wise on the level of there competition at the time they fought.....he lost to Lennox and Byrd(that fight was a joke).....and his competition is horrible....while i think he a HOFamer ATG is questionable.....do you honestly think he would have beaten a prime Ali or Holmes -NO WAY !! they would have boxed his ears off

I've got to disagree with you mate. As much as I loved Big Frank, imo Vitali would have ko'd Frank without too much trouble.

The biggest question against Vitali is the poor quality of his opposition.

Tyson took out fighters of this calibre in a matter of seconds in his prime.

Yes Vitali has records. Against very poor quality fighters.

he makes the era look like ****. that's how great he is. YES VITALI KLITSCHKO MIGHT BE THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME.

It's very possible he would slaughter Ali. He has the tools and the mind to do it.
