Resume ain't everything though..... I've said that at work before times over.... I've known many college boys who have a diploma or certificate framed and hanging on their office wall, and yet some of them wind-bags cannot turn a screw with a screwdriver, let alone tighten down a bolt with a wrench... When I'm stuck in the trenches during a fire-fight, I need men who can fight, not bull**** me to death...

Point is, most, if not all, the men in the trenches don't have a college degree, but they know how to survive in the field....The men with degrees' all seem to hide up in the front office and blab orders from a radio..... I hate that....

Now, the K-brothers are a rare breed of fighter.... Both have excellent training habits and are Ph.D's in P.E.... Plus, they are truly dedicated and know how to fight, despite being a tad robotic, etc..... These dude's are great.....

Vitali is quite entertaining. Maybe you are mixing him with Dr. octopussy Wlad.

Styles and skills make fights, as do one's mental make-up makes him a fighter..... The resume looks nice on paper, but the resume isn't doing the fighting...... I've seen many prospects simply rise to the occasion to score victory in the ring... Where the hell was the assist from his paperwork???? I'm not gonna say his paperwork should be totally discounted, yet I'll swear up and down it ain't everything once the opening bell sounds..... Desire and ability play serious roles in kicking someone's ass in the ring.... 'Nuff said.....

You see these overly intellectual wind-bags appear all the time on the boards here in the forum and they'll write a scoop pitting Jack Johnson fighting Marvin Hart from 1907, and they'll jot down all the so-called written facts from newspaper clippings and old fogie tales and chat about the event as if they themselves were there ringside when all this action occurred a century ago.... Yeah, I admire the old school champs / greats from way back too, but let's not get carried away and totally lost there... I know who is great from way back, however, boxing has also evolved a lot from 1900, as well... I don't wanna hear some bull-manure that Sam Langford and Bob Fitzs would cream today's crop of heavyweights, including both K-brothers..... Though, I do think a dude like Jack Johnson would find a good amount of success with his 1910 ability if fighting in 2011.... But I'm not gonna bet any serious bucks on him beating the K-brothers in a time machine..... That's a tad too sketchy to me........

a boxers resume consists from what they do in the ring...therefore how can it be dissmissed...regardless if you think wlad is mentally weaker than his brother is pointless..the fact is wlad has fought bigger hitters.faster, more skilled fighters than his brother..

Without doubt, dude's like "V.K., Foreman, Holy & Holmes" are the best 40 something heavies I've ever seen......

Foreman at age 45 still has the notion of making the all-time greatest sports and financial comeback ever written down in the books.......

Yep... Just opinions.... However, as of late, it appears that V.K's popularity has begun to overshadow lil' brother Wladimir in recent polls, despite the fact Wladimir has more belts in his closet.... A champion makes the belt worthy; a belt doesn't necessarily make a champion.... However, in the case with the two brothers, both are indeed respected champions.... Only haters and detractors will refuse to give credit to the K-brothers.....

With a straight face, I rate V.K. # 7 on my all-time list, with Wladimir now somewhere between #'s 10 thru 13 on the ATG list of top-20 heavyweights.... Resume is factored in to a degree, but I truly feel a man of V.K.'s stature and ability could and would clobber several greats from the past who owned a better resume via a time machine when both champs were at their best..... And, yes, Wladimir is also capable of beating the majority of ex-champs via a time machine---as long as he protects that chin of his.....
