The only problem with your argument is Vitali did outbox Bryd and Lewis, and did prove his boxing IQ by beaten many different style. When you show me score cards with Byrd and Lennox ahead, then you will have half an argument, until then you don't.

In the Byrd fight it was clear as day Byrd was beginning to get on top and that Vitali quit right at that point. He could've conceivably thought he was down on the cards given his abysmal punch stats and the fact Byrd was the one walking forward. I had it 5-3-1 Vitali but remember, fights are for 12 rounds.

God your desperate. The tore rotator cuff happened, and Vitali was 5 rounds up, 6 on one scorecard. The fact you have to make up your own scorecard, and reasons why the fight was stopped shows how much you are in denial.

You can split hairs about the meaning of ATG, but bottom line is he's very good in both aspects.

    Hells no.
 First true thing you said all post ;)

You don't score fights you watch? You just take the judges cards as Gosepl? Odd little man.

Did the torn rotator cuff happen? Which arm? Go watch round 9 and see if Vitali was not throwing with an arm - I'll save you the time, he was throwing openly with both arms.

He quit vs Byrd who took the fight on a week's notice. It was disgraceful.

5 rounds ahead, and a tore rotator cuff I'm afraid. Not nice being wrong, but you need to get over it.

He was thumping Byrds skull from every angle there is. Byrd even started looking like a ****** repeatedly making "WAAOOO!!" noises after ever Vitali shot. It started to get obnoxious.

He was clearly outboxing Byrd. The truth hurts I know

The quitting streak of **** was landing at a pitiful 20% compared to Byrd's 50% and being walked down by a blow up super-middle. If that's what you call "outboxing" so be it.

Well which arm? You tell me which arm he wasn't using in that fight?

Here is round 9, you tell me with your own eyes which arm is he not using?

He missed pretty much every punch he threw. If he really was thumping his skull in - which he wasn't , then Vitali is the most feather fisted hitter in history.
Get off the forum ya muppet. You never saw that fight in your life and are merely parroting the myth like the puppet you are.
And LoL@ Vitali throwing from angles :nut:
The man was the most rigid , straight ahead puncher that ever laced them up.

Having to make up your own numbers again, because you are are wrong. It was not 20% and 50% at all. It was 26% and 44% and you don't judge who won on accuracy. Facts are Vitali was 5 rounds up and outboxing Byrd, and the fight was only stopped because of an injury. The fact people use this fight to discredit Vitali just shows how good he really was.

The fight wasn't stopped dummy. Vitali quit. Most likely from exhaustion as Byrd was beating his rib cage like a drum all night. There was no visible signs he had any injury prior to his quit job.
The FACT he chose not to trigger his rematch clause proves it was a quit job. You think nobody ever won with an injury before? Loads have and against more dangerous opponents than Byrd.
You can be winning 12 rounds of the fight , it doesn't mean chit cos you can get stopped with 20 seconds left on the clock, which has happened multiple times. . Its almost like you don't know a guy can come from behind and win.
