Even with weak opposition, you can carve out a legacy with number of defenses and time as champion. If he could fight for another 3 or 4 years and 8 - 10 fights, thats a significant legacy in itself. He should go on as long as he can.

I think that Gaye is hoping that Vitaliy KlitschKO will retire next year. Vitaliy KlitschKO will stick around just to remind everyone who the King is. I think that Vitaliy KlitschKO has a psychological edge over every other fighter. I am sure no one wants to be around him when he is pissed. Sanders tried to play with his but got hammered.

Vitali is the very best. Vitali will continue to fight because he wants to win the WBA title also. He will continue to call out the coward Haye.

i do not like the fact that he hangs around and apparently clouds the judgement of many who consider him the #1 in the division all the while fighting absolutely terrible opposition. wlad is clearly his superior and seen as they'll never fight to settle the matter the sooner vitali gets the hell out and allows wlad his rightful mantle in the eyes of all the better.

Even if Vitaliy KlitschKO retires, his spirit will haunt the current contenders. I hope that he will stay for awhile for his fights bring excitement and joy. Besides, he has been very active champion with 3 fights per year. What else can one ask from a champion?
