I'd love Haye to win and I also think it would be good for the sport to have a charismatic heavyweight champ but even as a fellow brit I don't even give him a puncher's chance. I think deep down the Haye camp know that this is there one big payday chance. They've avoided all decent contenders, picked one heavyweight fight (Barret) and mouthed their way to a fairly undeserved title chance. Haye has improved steadily over the last 4 years since I saw him sparring but I just can't get the Carl Thompson fight out of my mind. Haye wasn't hit with a lucky shot. Every time Thompson hit David he wobbled him.
Put Kilitschko's longer, stronger jab into the mix also and I think Haye would struggle to get within striking range to land his own shots. Anyone who does get into Klitschko's range needs a strong chin. You'll need to take a couple of big shots before you can land on Klitschko and unfortunately for Haye you can't put muscles on chins. Haye will also struggle against contenders such as Arreola. Hope I'm wrong.

Vitali, even at his advanced age, would destroy Haye.

Haye would make Herbie Hide's performance against Vitali look like Lennox Lewis' in relation to what Haye would achieve. It is that bad of a matchup for Haye.

yes vitali is still good enough to beat haye, but i think he is not in his prime anymore, and is vulnerable to somebody that is fast, heavy-handed and a good counter-puncher like haye.

Yes he has indeed lost only few rounds in his career.

Like a first round against Gomez for example.
