The two best fighters he ever faced ended him in TKO9 and TKO6 and he was carved up like a Turkey at Thanksgiving in the latter..dem are the facts.

No, clearly not. His resume (wins) is too thin. H2H Vitali with his size, chin, awkwardness, work rate and stamina would be a nightmare for anybody, but his resume is too thin to rank him in top 10, let alone in top 3

How do we rank him fairly considering that he dominated in a weak era and never challenged the best in the division (Wlad)? His resume isn't amazing but his definitely got the skills to beat other ATGs.

No, Vitaliy is overrated, he had two opponents of the AAA class, and he lost to both. The main problem of Vitaly was (or is) that he wasn't a puncher, he could hit hard, but in order to knock out his opponent he had to land tons of his blows. A bright example is the fight with Briggs, Briggs was the walking dead, but Vitaly still could not knock him out. And compare how the real ATG Lewis dealt with Briggs

H2H one of the best. Would dominate current era no doubt, but his resume is so so. Still much better then Wilder's or Fury's.

He was way ahead in the Byrd fight. Lennox retired instead of giving him that rematch he promised.

Head to head he is a challenge for anyone.

No way is he the ATG though; his resume is so ****.

tis an odd coincidence these excuses are only needed for when he faces someone good.
You'd think, given the cruddy resume elsewhere, that odds would dictate that a loss through ACCIDENT would have happened with one of other 95% crummy opponents....not with the two good ones.

    odd thing, that.
