Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, and Ali were ALL in weak-ass divisions. VK is no different, except that he has NEVER hit the canvas.
Tyson and Lewis maybe, Ali you gotta be shitting me! and there are nowhere near as many threads stating that Tyson or Lewis is the GOAT as there are for Klit.
The most misinformed bull**** i have ever read. Ali struggled with Henry Cooper as a young man and yet beat him and subsequently grew as a fighter. This isn't track and field you dummy. This is a combat sport and there are MANY more variables and intangibles one has to take into account. The talent pool isn't as deep, the expertise as it pertains to developing subtle nuances in ones skillset isn't as easy to come across, and the sport isn't as well structured as it use to be and thus guys are fighting on a regular basis against the level of competition required to maximise development. This isn't football, track and field, it's boxing and what constitutes efficacy in the ring goes FAR beyond athleticism.
Well that's obviously because Klit IS the GOAT. Trust me dude, most people in the boxing forum do their homework. Who from Ali's era was even mid-tier?
no, but he is in the top 30 heavies of all time though... don't see how he is even close to top 10 or even would fathom him being the greatest ever... i just laugh at that.
You guys are just mad cuz you started watching boxing 2 years ago. I've studied the heavyweights pre-90's. They were a joke by todays standards.
