    Exactly. :deal

They say he was the greatest but he never fought anyone with the deadky mixture skills and size like Dimitrenko.

yeah man, totally. Most of old fighters were absolute ****.

They say, Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Louis, Holmes, and I say Dimitrenko.:deal

They say Duran, SRL, Toney, Hagler, Hearns, and I say Kell Brook.

    There is no blueprint.

    You sir know boxing:thumbsup

Can I ask you how highly you rate David Haye?? Or even Chisora?

Duran and SRR are two fighters from the past that you give credit too??? Well that's a start! Hehehe!

Hagler?? Hearns?? Azumah Nelson?? Julio Cesar Chavez?? Pernell Whitaker?? Don Curry?? Dwight Muhammad Qawi?? Michael spinks?? Mike McCallum??

Back to the heavyweights(I'm assuming you mean the heavies! lol) Errrm which heavies are you referring to that held their lead arm by their hips??

David Haye has used that technique to prevent his opponent from seeing the jab, as he whipped it upwards from the hip.

Muhammad Ali threw 10/15 right hand leads against George Foreman in Zaire...it's called the element of surprise son! Hehehe! In the amateurs, the tendency is to develop into a tall stand up fighter, gloves high and head hunting. The ridiculous scoring system dictates that the aforementioned style will prevail...but it's different in the pro's!:nut:nut

Please stop waiting for ESPN's classics with Bert sugar and get you're own collection! lol!

I take back my earlier comments

SRR? Not a patch on David Diaz :deal

Ali?? Are you crazy? Nicolai Valuev everyday of the week! :deal

Joe Louis?? Frazier?? Foreman?? David Price, Big John McDermott, Seth Mitchell!

In fact I've no clue why Price, Fury, Kell Brook etc don't retire and in 5 yrs they'll be a shoe in for canastota! :rofl:rofl

Oh and I once watched all the rocky films....again and again from the age of 6... My favourite was Rocky 4! I was shocked at how Rocky fought with his face all the time...he had heart that balboa! Did you see the part where he had to chase the chicken in number 2? At first he couldn't catch it but he did in the end!!

Clubber Lang wore himself out in number 3..I watched that again and again to show me how not to pace myself:lol: oh and in number 5 I learnt never to have a fight outside a bar...or do have a fight outside a bar..Rocky won to the best of my recollection..didn't really rate 5 that much......:rofl

David Haye, I consider a top 15 ATG. Unified cruiserweight division and then beat Valuev, a guy with a great record who was physically much bigger than him. Counter punching at it's finest.

Chisora is a prospect for the future. Once the Klits retire he could go on to dominate the division.

Most of the fighters you mentioned have awful technique and people just get all romantic about them. Hearns was fast and could punch, but had a poor chin, Hagler was a one dimensional, walk forward fighter. Hopkins would've eaten him alive and you saw what Calzaghe did to Hopkins.

JCC? The Mexican cab driver who fought other Mexican cab drivers?:rofl People like you get fooled by seeing that he had over 100 fights, but those schooled in the sport know that most of those names were shite.

Sweet Pea? The southpaw Floyd Mayweather except he wasn't even as good defensively as Floyd?

Exactly. The old school fighters look terrible in the scope of powerhouses like Sugar Nicky Valuev, David "The GOAT" Price and Tyson "The Gypo Thunder" Fury.

Look at SRR; he has so many losses! And Kell Brook; THERE IS NO BLUEPRINT!!!!!:deal:yep

Is Vitali the greatest heavyweight ever?

I would say that both of the brothers have become so amazingly good that they both now share that honor, but yes I would give the #1 all-time top stop to Vitali.

Did I say top 15 p4p? No, that would be ridiculous I would agree, but as a heavyweight, he's easily top 15 ATG. Like I said, pre 90's was shite. Those guys had no access to modern strength and conditioning and nutrition. Do you know how much difference something like plyometrics can make to speed and power? The 90's was a good era.

    1. Vitali
    2. Lennox
    3. Tyson
    4. Ali (one of the few pre 90's fighters I actually rate)
    5. Wladimir (chin lets him down)

David Haye is in top 15 for sure.
