Yeah he's dirty but personally I don't have a problem with it. This ain't ballet. If he tries to rough you up, rough him up back.

If Ward is dirty then so are Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson and Marvelous Marvin Hagler. Ward is a boxer and one of the most versatile technicians in the sport today.

The dirtiest fighter in the game today. Allowed to get away with it too (on home soil). Does he even get warnings??

Ward is nothing but a dirty ass ***** with very good stamina ( thanks to illegal drugs abuse ). I think Bute can punish him hard, KO in 5 rounds !

Ward is about as dirty as Susan Boyle's week old soggy tampon.

I hope god is not as dirty as his son :nono

Ward is obviously a great and skilled boxer, but it bothers me that he uses dirty tactics to win when its not even necessary. Against Kessler and Green it was obvious that the ref was trying to help Ward...against Kessler he was allowed to give 5 head-butts without getting a warning and now against Green he was allowed to clinch and use his advantage over Green in the clinches...where there also was zero chance of getting hit by Green´s dangerous left hook. There is just no way on earth that an unbiased ref would have accepted so much clinching. :patsch

It wasnt his clinching, it was his foot and body movement that allowed him to get close. That is a skill, and one not too many fighters have. And on top of that, he fights on the inside very good. Its going to be hard to find someone that will beat andre.

I haven't seen the fight versus Green yet, but yes, he's an extremely dirty fighter. He fights like Hopkins did once he faded past his prime... the thing is Ward is still a youthful, talented fighter who could really do without all the excessive clinching, headbutting, and all the other garbage tactics he uses.

Funny thing is Ward imitated Roy Jones when he first turned professional and that clearly didn't work out for him so he instead chose the next best thing and now imitates Hopkins's dirty ass style.

He fought dirty in the Kessler fight, but not the Green fight. I don't have much of a problem with it though because dirty fighters are part of the game.

WOW! Overwhelmingly Ward is considered dirty. I don't think the kid is dirty at all. i think his last fight with Kessler was a "dirty" fight but not intentional. Of course it played a part in the outcome I think. not that Kessler was gonna win, but being butted myself and having been cut before i can tell you it affects a fighter.....EVEN at this level.

Ward vs Green was a very CLEAN fight....it was rough, rugid and grueling but it was clean. A lot of "in fighting" and "dirty boxing" was showcased and it may have came off as looking dirty, but that was some great in fighting by Andre. Green had no idea how to fight on the inside on that level.

Allen needed to control the distance.....he didn't control anything. The pace of the fight Ward controled...the distance and action Andre also owned. Green was out of his leauge. And that dissapoints me.
