Is Ward going to LHW because of Degale?

Ward apparently decided against defending against Degale

Ward didnt face the first 2 fighters Degale will have fought in world title fights

Ward decided against being an away fighter which Degale will have been in his first 2 world title fights and against fighters Ward didnt face

Degale is a boxer mover, like Bute, like Andre Dirrell

Na Ward has a habit of embarrassing British boxers...DeGale would be no different.

    Who did he embarrass?
He fought a close fight with old, limited and arguably fatigued Froch

    Which bit?
Ward didnt seem interested in Bute, there were disputes about locations with Dirrell and he apparently decided against Degale

Froch won one clear round the whole fight against a one handed Ward. Ward trounced him. Old? Bull****...he went on to beat Kessler and Groves twice after that. Froch was arguably at his peak at that time and he got hammered by a one handed Ward.

I think the whole thing Ward said before his comeback against Smith, that he wasn't sure if he could still make 168 safely, is what's the real reason for moving up.
Why on earth would he fear DeGale?

Do you think he will be looking for SMWs to move up like Smith did?

Yep. And because of GGG. See when GGG said he'd fight at Super Middle on PPV, when GGG becomes PPV Ward moves up. Coincidence? I think not

When did Ward have one hand?
He postponed the fight due to a small cut and you say he only had one hand?
Many rounds were close whichever way they were scored. I scored for Ward by close decision like 2 of the officials.
You say old bs, but Kessler was further faded and it was a tough close fight and Groves was a British level fighter and not a top world class fighter even if talented.
Froch was around 35 at that time, a time when many SMWs are retired or past best as well as having been fatigued from being on the road in 5 of his last 6 fights. Consider he had just had a tough close fight with old faded journeyman G Johnson before that :patsch

great, so Ward can still fight 21 November vs a formidable opponent
