I've already told you why he is a coward. The reasons why he has made negotiations difficult is simply to stall and evade his responsibilities out of fear. That is undoubtedly the hallmark of a coward. You may well indeed believe the sun shines out of his backside, but do not expect everything to think the same. Even his own Idol Mayweather has questioned Ward, because he knows that for your own credibility you fulfill rematches if there is controversy or there are millions questioning the result.
I do not answer to you. Neither did I create this thread, I simply responded to another poster who felt it should be forbidden to call a boxer a coward and question Ward's behaviour. Then you chimed in to defend Ward as if he was your Uncle.
You can't call Ward a coward in my opinion, he has already fought him. I think it will hurt his legacy if he doesn't do a rematch.
No no, you got it wrong! according to some of the ESB experts, he is a coward because he hasn't signed the rematch fast enough for their liking.
Reason why they are saying that cause they know sog took the clutcher to school and gonna school that over hype cave man again clutchers a chump if he cant ko you early he dosent have a clue how to win.wards the champ he gonna sign when hes ready. Till then all you ward haters stay home and pratice your hate.
You are an arrogant buffoon! You have no way of fully knowing what Ward is thinking and why he hasn't signed the for the rematch. You can only assume the delay is out of fear, that's it! I swear you guys are the dumbest know it alls, when in reality you know nothing! Your logic is based on absolutely nothing. People call fighters cowards and drug cheats with absolutely no proof to support their claims. Ward has fought very tough, hard hitting fighters throughout his entire career, never ducked anyone, now , out of the blue he becomes scared to fight a rematch. I could see if he got destroyed like Walters or put to sleep like Garcia did to DZ, but come on. If I was to betting man, I'd say Ward give Kov the rematch.
Yeah, I think that he's going to retire, and if he does, he's a coward for doing so and a liar for not honouring his word. Too much blubbering and protesting and yellowness coming from that direction. If he's going to retire then he should retire asap and Kovalev can get on with smashing the rest of the division and reclaiming his belts. Otherwise he needs to man up and make the damn fight.
Jones also explained how Ward lost. Ward was given a gift decision that night, but unfortunately its the sort of gift decision that comes with a handgrenade in the box. The same sort that Canelo got when he beat Cotto. El Pollo vacated; I expect Ward to do the same.
There is no arrogance, only observation and sound impartial judgement. There is no justification for not accpeting a rematch or to even consider retirement. The mere fact that he even considers retiring at 32 years of age after stealing a decision with cooked judges in his corner is a sure sign of cowardice. It's a hit and run game he is playing. The man has been out of the sport for 5 years, comes back and faces 3 disgraceful indistinguishable bums who only served as human beings to test his skills against. They had absolutely no ability, none. One even came into the fight severely overweight and then Ward paid him afterwards to reward him for the previlege after the boxing board rightly fined his undisciplined fat behind. Ward gives no honour to anyone except himself and as a result the true supporters of boxing shall give him the same courtesy.
Basically, this. Up to the point where he had to do the rematch I was OK with Ward. He took the match, which was a big step up for him. He fought gallantly in a losing effort. It's not his fault the judges gave him the nod. So, up to there, OK. But now when it comes to the crunch, when it comes to taking the rematch that he knows he will lose, and honouring his word, he's being a little sissy. I can't respect that. He needs to make up his mind or gtfo of boxing.
The most annoying aspect of Ward's debacle is his disingenuous analysis of the fight. Only a sham of a "fighter" would attempt to get his shenanigans over on even the most casual observer of the sport. Bottom line, he got his ass kicked and it will be much worse for him the next time.
I remember in the immediate aftermath of the fight, among all the bickering and debate over the decision, at least almost everyone (Ward supporters and Kovalev supporters alike) agreed that a rematch should and would be arranged quickly. No one could justify or entertain the possibility that it shouldn't be arranged, and quickly. I've always been a bit sceptical. It's interesting that some of Ward's fans are testing the waters now with a new theory that Ward doesn't really need to rematch.
Please go to the "Help Kovalev B Great Again" Crowd-funding site to help Kathy fund the rematch. It will be Yuge!
Oh, he doesn't have to fight anymore ... plenty o loot ... atg ... been doing this for 25 years ... nothing to prove ... doesn't need it ... a side b side ... don't rush him ... he's still gotta think, yo
