Cleverly stood in front of Kovalev - no lateral movement - like a complete amateur and got exposed for what he is, a hype-job. Ward would embarrasses Kovalev. He has pfp defense, movement, speed, ring smarts. It would be the Froch fight all over again, only worse.

Ward would not make this fight without several concessions. Weight, venue. purse ect. ect. ect.

And no way in F'ing Hell he he win easily.

Ward will only fight in his home town, with his personal referee and judges. Yes, Ward's ref will try to protect him, but Kovalev would knock him out anyway. Ward would get knocked out by Kovalev, but Ward will never fight Kovalev, never. Watch and see...............

If he didn't fight the undisputed lightheavyweight champion at 175, he certainly isn't going to fight Kovalev at 175.

Hopkins was already in agreement to fight Murat, who is a fighter that Cleverly beat.
With Hopkins tied up, and Cleverly offering a title shot, what was Kovalev supposed to do?

Why? It's true. Ward clipped Chad with a couple of left hooks. Ward's left hook is stronger (and faster) than Kovalev's. Hence, he has more power.

Dangerous fight.. opposite to Froch rematch.

Would take quite a lot of money for Ward to happen imo.

Ward isn't touching this with a barge pole.

he never went up in weight to tackle Dawson, he'll not do so here either.

if the talks start to build, Ward would only look to get Kovalev at catchweight, or at 168. he's not going up to Lightheavy. hell no.
