Is Ward really afraid of Green?

I'm 99% sure Ward isn't afraid of ****.

 

If it makes him feel like a better man, Green can say what he wants. His time is limited though.

 

These threads are ridiculous. Ward was injured in training. He has no choice but to postpone the fight. IN beating Kessler - he already soundly defeated the favored fighter in the tournament. Ward no doubt respects Green - but certainly does not fear him. Green is just bumping his gums - probably at the advice of his gladhandling poozer of a "manager" Greg Leon.

If Green is actually saying that Ward is afraid of him then this means only one thing - that Alan Green is in fact scared of Ward.

 

Stupid post! I used to be allen greens friend on myspace and i would see the bulletins this clown would post talking **** on guys 10x as good as him. Andre Ward is gonna clown this trash talking fool. Allen green is a drug addict, in one of his bulletins he was comparing himself to ali and i told him myself he was off his rocks.

Wasn't it Green who talked all kinds of crap before he fought Edison??? Oh ya he did..and then what?? ERRR...crapper vs fighter thats lost all his big fights...so that tells you where Green is. Green has a punchers chance and thats it. Ward is faster and has much better skills then Green, and has beaten the better fighters...

 

Ward fought Kessler and Miranda, I'm sure he's not scared of Allen Green. That's not a dig at Green, it's just that he's a pro and he's fought power fighters before. Also, they are still going to fight, it's not like Ward is backing out of the Super 6. (At least I don't think he is/will.)

 

Ward wants to make sure he has his judges and referee in his home town. Dirrell did the same thing with an injury.

Well, since Ward beat the man who beat Green(styles make fights though) and just beat Kessler in a fashion that was as one sided as it gets....Of hand, I'd say no. I do think that this talking by Green is going to get him KO'd and Ward aint the KO type. He's going to **** off the one of the most talented fighters out there right now.

Green has speed and power. He has absolutely 0 boxing technique. That's the problem when you think you're the best too early in your life. Sometimes, you forget you have to work in order to improve. It's now too late for Green. His potential was higher than what he finally became.
