Is Ward stalling in the hope Kovalev outgrows 175?

First of all, that is not true. Second: there are two reasons for that:
- he sh!tted on Golovkin causing a collision between Golovkin's fans and fans supporting black and/or American boxers onle
- he got publicity by misleading people into believing that he will fight Kovalev.

In reality, 90+ percent of the talk is about Golovkin and Kovalev, not Ward.

 

Unfortunately for Ward that's as far as his career advances: internet boxing threads.

 

Youre talking about him right now, so obviously yes he is!!

you saw it with pac/floyd....the minute it became real they came with the excuses for pac ....as soon as it was signed "oh well pacs not into it anymore....fight should have happened 5 years ago...no point now"......but they were flapping their gums right up until it became reality

the minute a guy like kovalev or ggg were to get outboxed....is the day they cant come on here and flap their gums

 

Kovalev's tall, long armed, lanky, big body frame is fine for now at 175. But they should warn Kovalev and JD Jackson about mentioning any catch weights. Because if they even whisper it we will be seeing the LHW championship of the world fought at 170 pounds.

Andre and Virgil will try their best to turn Kovalev into a 2012 version of Chad Dawson. Kovalev at 175 on the scales has nothing else to take off of him. Imo the longer Ward can delay this fight the better chances he has of winning it.

how can andre "bside with no fanbase" ward dictate any terms to kovalev??? thats all we heard about ward......he has no fans...no right to tell guys like ggg and kovalev what to do......so its absurd to entertain the notion that ward could drain kova to a catch weight

like i said...it must be wards fault that canelo gets to dictate to ggg.....its all wards fault! andre ward you are the reason canelo wont fight the great ggg!

If Ward can get 2 legit top 10-15 LHW next year and beat them he will have a few extra bargaining chips at table with Kovalev. For example Yuneisky Gonzales , if Ward can beat him that's a huge plus. Because he would be beating the man that the majority of boxing (except for the judges) beat Jean Pascal.

yeah ward isnt a friggin superstar...he isnt cotto or canelo....or floyd......he doesnt have the fanbase of the brits like a froch......but hes as well known in the boxing community as anyone....and is more known than any of gggs previous opponents.....ward is known and the fight would have been a big one.....yet they insisted it wasnt and ggg had every right to pass....

the funny thing is....it appears ggg might be willing to pass on a wbc strapped canelo too....which would be nuts to me
