you are delusional....... beating two top 10-15 lhws doesnt put ward in the position to dictate to kovalev......no way no how.....never....not in any universe....this one or an alternate one
i know "hey if ward beats 2 top 10-15 lhw he could bring more chips to the table and dictate terms to kova and drain him to a catchweight"---you actually said this.....
By that time, Pascal would be stopped twice by Kova, so Ward outhugging somebody who drew with Pascal woudn't make any difference.
Kovalev isn't going to outgrow light heavy, he's not huge at the weight, just compare his build to guys like Drozd or Lebedev, he's clearly a natural light heavy. Ward is just being Ward, injury prone, inactive, poorly managed and poorly advised. I'd be amazed if Ward has 3 fights in 2016, I'd be happy with just 2 fights as long as one of them is Kovalev.
Wake me up when ward headlines his own show and has good ratings cos I can't see it in the next 6 months..I think the guy is on kid quitten universe where fans are second and people give up on you.
Gonzales is the perfect preparation for Kovalev. It will get Ward used to being in the ring with a larger man. Gonzales doesn't hit hard like Kovalev so Ward could try other things and like I said before just get accustomed to pushing around a legit LHW.
Kovalev is smaller than Dawson and about the same size as Hopkins. I really doubt he's struggling to make 175.
This is how an armchair thinks when a fight isn't made fast enough. I hope you suffer the way your boxing opinion has. One them "Danny Garcia won't fight Matthysse" clowns now saying "Ward won't fight Kov"!:dead
