understand that Ward is a 2-belt champion. With that, you have organizational belts in which they EXPECT you to defend and represent their organization. And usually there's a #1 mandatory challenger assigned you're expected to fight, unless your promo works out a deal with the organization.

A weightclass titleholder cannot defend and represent their weightclass belt in a catchweight situation, unless you're Bob Arum and bed buddies w/ the WBC president...

Id like to see Sergio whoop Floyd @ 154, Make the big money! Then work his way up to 168 to fight Ward! Great fighters test themselves.. I think Ward would beat Sergio but only Pussies are afraid of L's... :hat

You make no sense. You can come in at any weight you want, as long as you don't come in over the limit.

Ward said on fight game that he would not be the same fighter at 160 or 164.

Sergio said he could still make 154... So why would he go up to 168? That would make 0 sense. A Floyd fight is the better option, much more money to be made! $$$$ Why do you have a problem with this fight? Floyd fought twice @ 154.. He fought DLH and Cotto. Will he fight Sergio @ 154? I doubt it...

Crazy to talk about this fight, Sergio is fishing in the small pond calling welters just looking South to me is a waste of time talking about a match which Sergio is not interested and personally Ward will toy with him very similar what Canelo did to Josesito.

Not to burst your bubble, but Martinez would get smashed. Badly. Ward's clinch and grab style would be nightmares for Martinez. Also, Ward is NOT Chavez. Ward can keep up movement-wise and definitely can hurt Sexy.

Sergio should try to fight cotto/alvarez (and I'd def. take a PBF fight but I doubt PBF does that)

why...chavez walks around heavier, and probably comes in on fightnight heavier than ward does...

dont give me that "he looks wider and has more muscle" ****.....doesn't matter, weight is weight and they both are the same height...so i really doubt a bit of muscle means that much....y'all act like ward looks like mike tyson, and kills himself to make 168
