This is going to be an easy win for Ward. Either late stoppage after winning every round or a complete shutout UD

Who expected it to be even mildly competitive?

I hope not, I would be rooting for my boy, allan green, but I see a dawson victory by a wide UD. I hope to be proven wrong.

Ward in a school session... Allen is game but I don't see him landing the left hook bomb.. I am waiting on how Ward will Gauage Green speed.. It might be closer than we think.. who knows..

So you will love it when Pavlik KO's Bute? :huh

To the original question. How can it be big letdown if you already expect the outcome to be one sided?

    Expectations

this is a one sided domination and the least dramatic fight of the tournament

    and ward will be hailed

    What I hope

Green wins or its controversial for Ward

    Why

So interest is garnered and the final out come becomes cloudy

If Ward Schools hes up 2-0 he'll be so hyped and every boody else's stock will plummet

One thing I really hope for this fight, other then NO headbutts is the referee warning about Ward's holding, it is illegal when a boxer has NO reason to grab and hold as far as I know, I could be wrong but I have seen it many times when a referee warns a fighter for holding other then when he is hurt or in recovery mode.
Anyone agree Ward holds a bit too much without any warnings?

I'd encourage anyone to watch or rewatch the Green vs De Leon fight. Green was eating punches, particularly hooks, prior to the stoppage. The same kind of punches Ward throws exceptionally well plus the fact that Ward has a lot more tools in his offensive arsenal. Ward mentioned on the radio show that's advertised here (can't remember the name) that he feels Green's hook is a more of a bailout punch and that they've prepared for it. If you take away Green's hook your not really left with much.

Green's nothing special, he never was. Ward's a bigger step up for him looking at recent performances. But he'll give Ward problems I expect in the early rounds with his handspeed and power. Might even see Ward go down once.

Green has talent and power but he has badly (and I mean BADLY) struggled in the past against mediocre opposition.

Allan could very well show up and land one of those monster left hook to end the night. But what are the odds of that happening if he can't convincingly beat guys who don't have 30% of Ward's skills?
