Is Ward vs Kovalev II a 500k ppv+ event?

    Hopefully we see a bit of aggro in the build up, the first fight started off so well and then fizzled out, Kovalev either was too tired or just deluded to think he could sit on his lead.

    I think Krusher fights harder in II but I think Ward beats him easier.

    If 1 didn't attract the casuals can 2 get them excited?

    Froch vs Groves 2 did much better because of the controversy in 1?

    I hope so. That was a better fight than all the the other PPV of late.

    Add some competitive fights that aren't rigged to the undercard and it might crack half a million buys.

    I think the decision yesterday will actually hurt ppv buys for the rematch. I paid $65 last night and the bad taste in my mouth is telling me I won't be paying for the next one.

    That's an interesting theory but the casuals are the guys that make up the bulk of the numbers and if they get a sense of controversy or intrigue maybe they part with their loot?

    How many will 1 end up with, I will be surprised if 2 does worse.

    Well put. Trump will be in office during the next fight most likely. I think he will crack down on the corruption. They will get the decisions right next time.

    With a better undercard, yes. That means a more star-studded one, and hopefully more entertaining.

    This one looked promising on paper but was a dud.

    I knew t would be a dud. I had to keep changing back to and from boxing because the undercard was so miserable and that's rare for me. Watching Bellator, boxing college football, boxing etc etc boxing lol.

    I admit I thought Stevens vs. JDLR would produce either a highlight reel KO for Showtime or he'd get upset (also via KO).

    Chilemba's whole game is to make people look bad, so I wasn't expecting fireworks there, but Gvozdyk really played into his mitts and let it be fuglier than it should have been considering his technical pedigree...and the finish was somewhat too anticlimactic to be excited about him dealing Golden Boy the first stoppage loss of his career. Wasn't like he iced him or anything.

    ...and don't even get me started on Hooker, because of whom I didn't even get to watch Kovalev vs. Ward live, the son of a *****...

    What's funny is that it was supposed to be some kind of coming out party for him, Perez was supposed to be cannon fodder for him as Perez was coming up to 140 LMFAO.
