Guys, this may or may not be a kneejerk thread but let's face it, Ward is unbeatable at 168 - one of the hottest divisions in boxing. Is he the second best boxer in the world?

Hell no. I think he would beat guys like Stevenson in Montreal, and Kessler in Denmark, but lets see it first. He can not hide in Oakland. He is the best at the weight though, skill wise, clearly.

No. He's the best boxer in the world.

    That was a masterclass.

Aboslutely. Next to Mayweather he's the best fighter in boxing. He just knocked out Chad Dawson, a guy who just beat Bernard Hopkins. It's how he won not just that he won.

This performance may prompt me to change my avatar. Ward is the best fighter in the world today. Mayweather can bow out now. This is the passing of the torch.

Hell he is possibly number 1 P4P. I'm seriously contemplating putting him over Floyd. I would rate him number 2 right now.

Nah. Like I said in the other thread, if Pac lost to Bradley and this Dawson fight took place at 175, then I would have him at number 2. But at the moment it's only Martinez and Donaire that he's just comfortably overtaken.

ESB is just having its typical knee-jerk reaction, at the moment.
