Is Ward's win over Dawson better then any in Floyd's career?

I agree with you, but I think Ward would do the same to Dawson at 175.

    ROFL.

I give Ward beating Chad as much as i give Floyd beating Zab.

    Ward's win against a weight-drained-lethargic 168 pounds Chad Dawson overshadows Floyd's best wins + Calzaghe's best wins + Marciano's best wins + Ali's best wins , period ! :yep:good

You're entitled to your opinion but wards career is starting to peak right now and hasn't accomplished 1/10 compared to Void.

Let him clean out the division and move up a few weight classes to fight the top guys and then he might have a resume on par with Mayweather's.

A few people including Larry Merchant tried to say Corrales was drained as well. Even still the victory over Dawson would've been better at 175. Ward has had an impressive career so far, but Floyd has had success over a much longer period. I'm a huge Ward fan, but I'm not putting any stock into Ward being a HOFer until I see sustained success.

To be honest I think wards limit is the light heavy weight division.
I don't think he can over power a top cruiser weight.

Remains to be seen. He fought in the olympics as a lightheavyweight, but had to stuff himself to get there. I'm interested to see how he takes a punch against top lightheavies.

Chad lost a close fight to Pascal, but had him hurt at the end and I believe he'd win a rematch. Regardless of how old he is beating Bernard Hopkins is an extremely difficult task.

Floyd did not dominate Cotto the way Ward dominated Dawson and before he fought Floyd Hatton's best win was against a declining Tzyu and many thought he lost to Collazo. While I think De La Hoya was a great win, he was a part time fighter at the time and it was a close fight.. Unlike Ward's win over Chad. Corrales and Castillio 2 were impressive wins though.

I agree Mayweather clearly has accomplished more and thus far has the better career, but I think Ward's win over a Prime Light Heavyweight Champion with tremendous skills Chad Dawson is very impressive and some could argue it was as good a win or better then any in Floyd's career.. Like I said before it would have been more impressive if he did it at 175 though.
