Is/was Benn the most exciting British (world) boxer to watch of the last 25 years?

Nah mate. I've just spent £300 on the Haye fight and a ticket to a Tyson evening on Sunday night in North Wales. Enoughs enough!!

TBH I promised myself I'd try to get to the Echo as much as possible to support them putting boxing on but so far I havn't managed it once!!

Benn and Bruno for me were the most exciting - you just knew that someone was going to get chinned no matter what.

It is the entertainment business after all :yep

Naz for me was a bit of a guilty pleasure..... enjoyed watching him fight but deep down wanted him to lose because he was a ****.

Plenty of other fighters were involved in exciting fights (rather than being consistently exciting to watch) - Lewis vs Briggs was a barnburner by HW standards, Hatton had a fair few in his earlier days etc.

In more recent years I'd have to say Jamie Moore was the best to watch, never in a **** fight that lad.

No love for Johny 'the entertainer(!)' Nelson or Henry Akinwande? Zzzzzzzz.....

It's got to be Benn and Naz. Pretty much every fight they were involved in was exciting for one reason or another.

Benn was undoubtedly one of the most exciting British fighters over the last 25 years.

But you're all missing a trick I reckon.

No love for 'The Cat' Carl Thompson? Man, some of his fights were just down right ludicrously entertaining :thumbsup

I personally have to say Joe Calzaghe!

even if you dont like him, you have to say... his fights were pretty exciting. He was an excitiing type of fighter, expecially when he got hurt. did i mention he was exciting?

I'm only in the £90 seats for Haye but the Tyson tickets were over £100 and we're staying over in Manchester. I'll be OK for April when I get the cash for the Haye fight off the 3 friends I paid for but until then March is going to be quiet month!!
