Wilder will fight Potvetkin or Pulev before 9/21 or be stripped.

They're allowing an interim defense so long as wilder agrees to fight a mandatory before then

Do you have a source for this? I'd be good with a Pulev/Wilder fight. Easier matchup for Wilder, but would be a very legit win.

 

There was talk earlier this month that Pulev was said to be elevated to #1, similarly as was Adamek when Stiverne bailed after his original eliminator vs Austin.

That said, Potvetkin isnt bailing, hes just in limbo, but the WBC originally said they would have a final decision as to who the mandatory defense would be against before the end of the summer.:think
