    It was already a foregone conclusion though, it has no relevance on me as a poster or any of my views on boxing which is highly respected on here. It was just an opinion I agreed with based on the article written at the scene. Of course when you have a EE boxing based forum, you'll never see anyone give an American any just due. That's just the way the cookie crumbles.

    Not the biggest in terms of numbers or whatever, but it's definitely up there with the best HW match ups of this century so far. Which is what should really matter to us as boxing fans.

    You misunderstood the concept of my thread. I'm merely basing my opinion off of the thread from the scene, I know there was other big fights many that Wlad was in, but none featured a prime HW which hasn't been seen in years that I can remember, and finally with the emergence of Wilder carrying the Torch for the US The hype is justified, just not from the usual EE crowd.

    So are you implying that because MOST members here view Klit/AJ as the biggest since Lewis/Klit, well are you implying that because Klit is a EE we are all picking him over Wilder/Ortiz for the biggest fight?

    Because i was strickly coming from money generated making it the biggest???

    It matters mostly to the American fans.. The EE crowd per usual aren't giving any just dues.

    LOL... You know i love riling up the EE fanboys, but it was just a topic I felt needed to be explored at this forum. I already knew when I created it what it was going to be, so no harm no foul but it still has to be considered a huge deal for American fans especially on the west coast.

    Any logical person came to the conclusion you did based on the thread title and the sentence long OP. I guess we all misunderstood based on a criteria he laid out after the poll became ridiculously lopsided and pretty much everyone who posted was laughing at how much of an idiot he is for making it to begin with.

    Also when AJ-Parker happens that will be bigger than this too.


    Wilder-Ortiz is only big from the context of Wilder's career and the first step up he has taken.
