Nah, I am not going to give it to you, it got people talking, that makes sense that it's the biggest US Heavyweight fight since Lewis/Klitschko.

Anyway, I've done similar, quoted something that's not exactly correct or even misread other posts.

    It happens.

I guess if you ignore Mexican-American posters as a completely different group. But why would you do that?

Exactly, fights don't get me excited unless I know I'm going to learn a lot about a fighter who has yet to display what they have to offer or the outcome is both important, and hard to determine. I've been waiting for both of these fighters to step up to this level for a while now.

This fight is just another perceived paper champion vs top contender like fight, nothing amazing about it other than Wilder is finally stepping up.

This fight is basically comparable to when Ruiz fought Golota or when Hide fought Vitali. It's a good fight but nothing special the fact you still buy tickets suggests this fight hasn't sparked the kind of interest a big fight normally would.

The fighters? They're pretty open about it. And it's public info. Though I should have been more specific and said pro Mexican-American posters.

I definitely think AJ vs Wlad, Wlad vs Haye, wlad vs peter 1, and even Vitali vs Sanders, were bigger.

But someone will have to wait to see the final stats in terms of views... that will determine how big it is or isnt. But as of right now off the top of my head those fights were bigger in my opinion.

Harrison vs. Haye made a total purse of $12 million. How much does Wilder vs. Ortiz generate, maybe $3 million tops?

I think people calling it that are just that thirsty for a US-based heavyweight fight to mean something on a global stage.

There haven't been many the last 15 years.
