Problem is Ortiz has the resume of a gatekeeper, he's nothing particularly special - Wilder always avoided genuine contenders for a reason...

Fury was a cherrypick gone wrong, I don't think Deontay with his confidence shot will be making that mistake again.

Yeah the way he fought in the last fight, well the heart he showed, has probably earned him another roll of the dice.

Well it’s simple,my opinion is that no other current Heavyweight apart from Fury has the attributes and skills as well as the unbelievable recovery powers required to beat Wilder . We will know soon enough as Wilder is not retiring .

Wilder is a bigger draw than ever, that is if he decides to make a comeback.

Look at Chisora, double digit losses but still draws a big U.K crowd because fans know he will always bring it and is in decent fights.

Ted Cheeseman another example who got KO’d at the weekend, although on a smaller scale, fighters like that can always go again if they want to as the fans know what they’re getting - 100% heart and action from a fighter who is entertaining to watch and willing to go out on their shield.

Watch him somehow nab a belt from Usyk or Joshua, forcing Fury to fight a second trilogy with him.

Of course he's still a top draw, he only lost to a guy who may be the best of this era. I mean who else beats him? Aj? Usyk? Ruiz? All those guys are/were champions in this division. Anything can happen in boxing but I doubt any one outside of that short list could stand in front of him, and honestly I'm not convinced that short list can either.

How do you rate Wilder so high after getting knocked out by Fury, losing 3 matches in a row to him and getting knocked out two times despite Fury not being a powerful puncher? The level of logic you people have is immensely ridiculous. I honestly cant imagine someone rating a fighter so high just because he got his ass kicked by the first live body he faced 3 times. Morons.
