If everyone thinks wilder is so **** then why is everyone so desperate to see him step up? Stop contradicting yourselves. Saying 'wilder is a bum he only fights tomato cans, when is he going to step up?' Makes no sense as if you think he is no good, then why shouldn't he just keep at the level he's at. I don't see his promoter hyping him up and his next fight is not even televised so just let him get on with it. I don't remember anyone moaning that Dmitry salita had to step up, and by the sounds of the people who claim wilder has to step up I don't think they rate him higher than salita. He's either a good fighter who needs to step up to a decent level or he's a bum who is fighting other guys who are also bums so he doesn't need to step up above that level, you can't have it both ways I'm afraid

He is not a coward, he is just protected. His jaw isn't that good, and his technique leaves him open at times. Because of that his promoters don't want him to get blasted out before they can get a big fight.

Trust me, we stateside fans know that Captain Windmiller is a fraud and a K.O. waiting to happen.

No, in fact, he's the smartest fighter ever
When he choose a better opponent, will lose. He knows it.

So, he's making some money. Just it

Deontay is a family father. He has children to sustain. That's your priority. Not fight for belt. Let Deontay retire with a healthy bank account. There's nothing wrong with this.

No. Coward and boxer don't go together. Is he cautious? You bet!

Definately agree with the last bit, I hate it when pencil neck fans call out boxers on their chin, heart, and so on. Anyone who gets in the ring deserves a little bit of respect

Deontay really should try to get a big name opponent, someone in the top 20 at least. Would be a by test to fight someone like chisora who is picking up a lot of steam an hype since beating Scott and that German dude

What did you guys expect ? Fury ? Guinn? Johnson? This is just a showcase fight to make the card look better . None of those other guys are gOnna fight on a month or less notice . Now if he doesnt fight a Chisora/fury/Scott type next then I'll be the first to start bitching but until then enjoy the ride

lets see, its almost 3 months after his last fight....which lasted 1 round. why does it take almost 2 months to find a next opponent....dont act like this was some rush job to find an opponent...they should have been doing their job 5 minutes after the blow out of the last shot guy they destroyed....but no...they wait 2 mnths, pick a garbage opponent with 10 losses and say the stupid s h i t like you just did as an excuse. seriously? yeah ummm NO

I would love to see fury-wilder maybe we will see it if wilder wins in the first few rds . They said fury make take a fight before haye is ready doubt he would risk that payday however

Iceman relaxe his fight was around 8-15 he most likely would have done that but went to help out haye . This fight was just thrown together because the card looked like **** with high potential to have alot of decisions . He us there just to please the crowd with a ko , if he doesn't fight someone next as I mentioned above I'll make your bitching & moaning look amateurish
