The thing with Wilder is that not a single person has really hyped him up, yet people are paranoid making threads like this ...

He started boxing in 2008 and people are outraged that he doesn't have the resume of a 35 year old lol. He has yet to fight a worthy opponent, but I'm not going to judge him until I see him in the ring with one.

I don't think he is a coward but he is getting famous with his low level opposition. Especially blatant is his next opponent Firtha.

I like the way his coach explained it. He called Firtha a very good opponent because they will fight him on a short notice. He probably thinks that people are very silly. Wilder is having sparring sessions with David Haye. He has 4 and 1/2 weeks till the fight. I guess that's a 'short notice'

Yes, his handlers. Like the one who said he was fighting Firtha on a short notice.

nah, hardly any boxer is coward but it is his handlers. I am afraid we might never know how good he could have been or how much he could have archieved because the way they are matching him. Shame really..

It is short notice for the opponent ... hard to get a six-week training camp done in three-four weeks (considering you probably fly to Atlantic City on Tuesday of the fight and just have lighter workouts there).

Did you notice Haye and Fury signed months out and began training months ahead? Did you notice pretty much everyone does that for bigger-money fights? The fight was settled a month ahead of the day they step into the ring. People with good resumes want more money to fight on that kind of notice.

quit spewing that late notice garbage. his last fight was 7 weeks before this one was even signed. if it was late notice its because his team of protectors didnt bother to look for an opponent until the last minute. i mean, its their job to find an opponent aftera fight, especially after a quick 1 round KO. Wilder is the only 29-0 fighter with a 100% KO ratio who is promoted by the top promotion in the world and is hidden on under cards and off tv fights. thats amazing to fathom. :rofl
