I'd take several from that list over Wilder.

Rahman, Coetzee, Damiani, Chagaev and probably Briggs too.

Glad somebody else spotted that. Bentt would likely be KO'd by Molina and Duhaupas, fringe men on today's scene.

I'm surprised no one is picking Oleg Maskaev. Does anyone remember his farcical defense against Okello Peter? Makes Wilder vs. Delayhapas look like a premium PPV event.

Ironically Maskaev might have a chin that rivals Wilder's on the fragile glass scale.

I'm not Morrison's biggest ever fan but you are having a laugh. That loss was Morrison giving a no mark bum no respect and paying for it. Prime Bentt. :rofl

I highly suspect once Wilder steps up, he will be badly beatn the same way the over fighters were. What we have here is a " champion ' fighting top 30-40 ranked guys.

Once he fight a top 5 ranked guy, perceptions will change

Not even the worst US one. 2006 Briggs probably loses to Wilder TBH.

Bruno 95 vs Wilder would be interesting. Maybe edge towards Wilder via late stoppage. Hometown judges give it to Bruno otherwise.

Michael Bentt was 3 times US amateur heavyweight champion, 4 times New York Golden gloves heavyweight champion. He wasn't a no mark bum.

I'm not saying Bentt was anything special, but Morrison was sh!t, the only reason people remember him is for being white and getting AIDS and starring in the worst Rocky movie ever.
He won a decision against Foreman by running like a track star and it looked like the old man wasn't trying too hard to hurt him.

You can't be serious mate, his pro record was a nothing and he was a cherry pick stay busy bout. Morrison failed badly that night, as I said because he gave Bentt no respect and caught one. I can see you are bitter about Morrison for some reason. For me Bentt is the worst hw strap holder I'm aware of. Put in a coma by cruiser Hide next bout.

His one win alone, vs Morrison, is better than anything Wildman has done.. Or will ever do

That's true as of now, but you can't base a rating on one bout.

Buster Douglas should be a top10 ATG going with this logic.
