Both have questionable chins, and both have great power that's mostly been shown against less than wonderful competition. What do you think?

Yes, he could be. Unfortunately for Shavers is in his day there wasn't 4 belts around.

Hell no, he's more like Mac Foster than anything.

Foster built up a 24-0 24 KO streak with his biggest wins being blow outs against shot former contenders Thad Spencer and Cleveland Williams.

Foster finally stepped up against thought to be fading contender, Jerry Quarry, who surprisingly thrashed the larger, younger fighter with a brutal body attack in route to a stoppage victory.

After the crushing defeat, Foster returned to destroying has been contenders, getting a single round KO over the washed up Zora Folley. This got him his shot at Ali, who soundly out pointed him.

Foster became a gate keeper and sparring partner after that.

I would not be surprised if Wilder's career ends up being identical, though he's taking longer to step up, already at 29-0. His management needs to forget the streak and get him some serious ring experience before he gets in deep water.

    Michael Grant, or Tye Fields.

Tye Fields could have a 29-0 29 KO record fighting those stiffs.

    Wilder is the real deal.

This guy is knocking Arreola out then if Tony Thompson, Pulev or the winner of Haye v Fury want it, they are getting it.

Then we will see if Wlads got the balls to fight the Bronze bomber or wether he will use his brains and retire.

Shavers earned his reputation as having bombs for fists against legit guys.

Ali and Holmes both said when they were hit by Shavers, they were shook to there boots.

Wilder has bombed out the great Audley Harrison.

Who did Shavers ever KO though? Savage punchers can KO anyone. His best stoppage is Kenny Norton and we all know his Chin was very shaky.....He stopped Jimmy Young too but he could not stop any of the upper tier fighters he faced.

Wlad made Wilder his ***** during sparring lol. nice fantasy you have there though, Wilder would never step in with the likes of Arreola, Thompson, or Pulev - Wilder will step up when his handlers want to cash him out, so don't expect to see him face a tough contender anytime soon.

    Good post :good

I cant say whether Wilder will or wont be a champion, simply haven't seen enough of him. But that's good knowledge, and I learned something new.

  14. He's fought no one.

Come back when he does fight someone.
