Since knocking out Carlos Maussa (who has since lost twice) 2 1/2 years ago Ricky Hatton has fought just twice in the division he supposedly rules. An unimpressive win against the relatively unknown Juan Urango and taking out a very faded Jose Luis Castillo. Does this really justify him retaining his #1 ranking?

Since beating Andreas Kotelnik future WBA champ in July 2005 Witter has fought at the weight 4 times defeating 2 former champions and the British and European Champion.

    Is Witter already #1?

If your answer is no, does this change if Witter puts in a better performance in May than Hatton?

Bradley is 100% better than Laczano, you clearly have never seen each fighter box. Suggestion - download some fights and shut up.

    No and no.

Kotelnik was a decent win but Harris was faded having lost Maussa and Corelys record since Witter is shocking (0-3). People really seem to be overestimating Witter since those 3 fights.

I don't know. It's very close. Considering Hatton doesn't even have a title I'd maybe go for Witter.

Yes I'd always go for the guy who won a vacant belt off Corley over the guy who relinquished belts to go and fight the P4P#1.

You Witter fans are full of ****.

    He's Witter's mandatory.

It doesn't matter if he's ranked 1,000,000,000, has one leg, unsightly, weeping skin lesions and inner ear issues that make him fall over all the time, Witter is expected to fight him if he wants to keep his belt.
