lets remember how green bradley was at this point. he was just seen as a bible basher, and although he scraped by, it was a clear scrape.

witter was looking for the hatton fight and just didnt prepare for bradleys pressure. infact bradley put him down, something hardly anyone has done before.

bradley was a huge underdog for this fight, and even though it was scrappy, he aint eclipsed this victory IMO

I'd say so, when you think of how unknown he was. The Holt fight is close second. The Peterson is possibly his best performance but Lamont was as unproven as Tim was going into the Witter fight.

Yeah. Witter was considered the 2nd best LWW at the time (Hatton was #1) and Bradley was something like an 8 to 1 underdog going into the fight and was able to beat him convincingly in Witter's home court despite 1 judge trying to rob him.

convincingly? well it was a clear-close decision. he deserved to win it, but only by a round or so.

I thought the 115-112 scorecard was about right.

it was IMO 7-5 plus the knockdown. so a 3 point victory is apt IMKO, but it was ckose enough to be 6-6 plus a knockdown.

I can understand that, though I couldnt see how the judge scored it for Witter.

it should be noted that Witters father was diagnosed as terminally ill 2 weeks prior to the fight iirc

We'll know better in a couple weeks. If Lamont looks good against Ortiz, that might become his best win. But in the meantime, I'd say Witter-Holt-Campbell-Peterson.

Yes, I think so. Bradley, was a heavy underdog and came to Witter's country and knocked him down and won on points.

    I say Holt.

Holt is a huge LWW who had power and still in his prime and Bradley is an undersized LWW. He tasted canvas in the first round via a brutal shot and kept bringing the fight to the bigger man and won decisively. He showed his true colors in this fight. He's willing to get hurt to prove his manhood. He comes to fight.

The Witter win was great but i was just SHOCKED they gave him the decision because the fight was very close.

Campbell was a no contest. In addition, Campbell looked shot in his last 3 fights; not that he was some beast to begin with...

convincingly as in there is no way anyone could score that fight a draw or for Witter.
