How in the hell can a fighter be an ATG when he's best known for the fights he LOST?

How does that make any sense?

If Wlad is an ATG then what does that make Ross Purrity, Corrie Sanders and Lamont Peterson? Boxing Gods?

Wlad is a great as long as he doesn't have to rematch the guys who beat him (one being a journeyman) and as long as he fights in Europe where he's protected by corrupt referee's.

Take those factors out of the equation and and he gets steamrolled by guys like Ross Purrity and goes life and death with bum Sam Peter.

Put a guy like Sanders who matches his in size and strenght into Germany to fight him and he still gets steamrolled.

He'll be around 15 to 20 ATG at heavyweight.

    P4P he's nowhere.

He's never even unified the division so those 16 defenses don't carry maximum credibility.

He's beat everything in front of him. Not his fault he's in the worst era of heavyweights. Got to tip your hat to his preparation. I would say he's in the best shape of any nearly 40 heavyweight that has ever fought.

His status as an all time great heavyweight is unequivocal now.

Pound for pound, there are very few heavyweights who legitimately sit in the top group, and Wlad is not one of them.

Vitali never fought anyone as good as chagaev, povetkin, haye, or ibragimov since 2009.
