Just a thought I had today, Since he keeps the Lead hand out, it looks as if his jabs don't do as much damage, I mean, The only exciting points are the hooks and the right hand, that coupled with the grabbing would make for a boring ass fight. Right?

I find him boring cos he just seems so unwilling to engage even when a guy is almost finished Wlad is just way too cautious.

Its just the wlad style. Like it or not. The man is boxing master and best HW jab.

    :rofl

Yeah, the best heavyweight jab that could barely land on a cruiser weight with his chin out and his hands by his waist.

Wlad's boring because he just keeps winning, dammit, when his detractors would be so excited to see him lose.

    Really not sporting of him.

The only truly exciting fight he's been in was against Lewis. That's it.

Personally I enjoyed his KO of "next American heavyweight savior" Calvin Brock at Madison Square Garden.

I can still hear Brock's body hitting the canvas with a dead weight "thud."

I find him boring because of his style. Even though Haye is an idiot, his use of the term 'robot' to describe Wlad is actually quite fitting. Wlad has a very stiff, upright style, which follows a safe and predictable pattern -- jab, jab, jab, clinch for a while. Sometimes he might just throw a right hand. Then it's back to jab, jab, jab, clinch for a while. His match with Ibragimov is one of the most boring I've ever sat through -- it was horrendous.

I actually like technical, defensive fighters. Mayweather is superb to watch. Even the current Hopkins can be good to watch due to all the little tricks he pulls out of his bag to keep up with the younger guys. The problem with Wlad is that there's nothing that grips me about his style -- there's nothing that feels special or dazzling about it.

Yeah, that was very boring, but it was hardly all his fault -- Sultan didn't want to get hurt, he just wanted the money and quickly left boxing after the fight. He was leaning so far back all night it's a wonder he didn't fall out of the ring.

However, I found Lennox vs Tua just as boring.

He frustrating to watch because he fights scared against guys that he has the ability to demolish. It takes him 10 rounds to do what he could do in under three. He does win though so its hard to hate him for it, im just not a fan. What makes him boring is that he he throws jab jab jab jab right hand jab jab jab wide left hook....over and over again. No bodyshots ever, rarely an uppercut. 95% jabs
