Wlad will be remebered as a dominate Champion, everyone forgets that Lewis went through the same critical opinions

Haye = Harrison. Arreola = Cooney.

Sadly, if there isn't anyone of worth for Wlad to beat, there surely are no decent wins for Haye or Arreola to get under their belts either. Sad, really.

Lewis fought in an era where there were still decent fighters capable of making a competitive showing. I'd guarantee Mercer, Golota, Holyfield, McCall, would absolutely crush Chambers, Haye, Valuev, Arreola etc. You can't blame Wlad, but there is no one for him to fight.

I have him outside the top 20, but just inside the top 25. A lot hinges on what he does the next 2-3 years, there's some young blood coming up that will make nice scalps. If he suffers another loss his stock will plummet.

Brewster is (was) probably better than Rahman, but that's hardly the point.

Lewis detractors keep bringing up these two losses, ignoring that they were on off-nights and both avenged by a subsequently more disciplined Lewis.

(Prime Joe Lewis lost to Max Schmeling. It doesn't hurt his legacy)

Wlad appears to have corrected his stamina issues (Purrity and Brewster).

And he still has time to add to his resume.

When Lennox was Wlad's current age, he still had nine fights left.

    Holyfield (twice)
    Grant
    Botha
    Tua
    Rahman (twice)
    Tyson
    Klitschko

    all in his future.

He's well outside my top ten, but I'll reserve judgment till he retires.

He's just inside my top 20,believe it or not. I just dont know which brother should be ranked higher. Wlad's more skilled with the better resume, but has questionable toughness and a very weak chin. Vitali is tough with a great chin, but lacks the skills and has not had as many big fights as Wlad.

Wlad will never make it into the top 10 heavyweights of all-time, his losses are terrible, and he never will beat a hall of famer or an ATG. Not to mention having a weak chin and lacks toughness compared to former greats.

Man.. Both of em losses were embarrassing, though lennox lost to better men than Wlad at least with McCall.

And Wlad did not do poor performances with Purritty and Brewster, not great but not poor but no excuses with those losses, should not have happened.

Will he make it to the HOF ? sure. he is the dominant SHW of our era along with his brother. is he really an ATG ? of course no , just a very big guy who makes a scientific use of his size.
I'd say he has some meaningful wins over McCline (close in size , has talent), Byrd (X2 , unfair) ,
Ray Austin (close in size had some talent).
Also Derrick Jefferson and Tony Thompson were close to his size , but totally lacking talent.

But , they are the unavenged Sanders , Puritty fights AND the fact that he is still 1:1 with Brewster and his win over Brewster took him one more round than vice versa and the dact that Brewster was coming off injury not completely healed and of course his unfair size advantage.
So , WK is an anti P4P , although the second best SHW in the world today.
I wonder how he would have dealt with a prime McCall (Tua won't be able to reach his head even from close , not sure McCall could)

he's not on anyone's top 20, save the extremely deluded. I can name 20 heavyweights that fought and beat better competition and were therefore better fighters, not to mention I personally think a good amount of them would be able to beat wladimir, even though he's a heavyweight giant
