Yeah. Well it wasn’t boxing match. In boxing Toney victory over Oquendo is better than all Chisoras accomplishments but together

But by all means let’s defend this match up where complete nobody, who hasn’t fought anybody, faces the world champion.

Jeah what a fight night it is going to be.
Do you feel the excitement in the air?

You can't blame Derek for taking the fight really, it might be his only ever shot at the title and any guy that dedicates his life to fighting would be crazy to turn down the only shot him may ever get. I say good luck Del Boy, there is the risk that Wlad ruins Chisora to send a message to Haye but Wlad isn't a killer unless we're talking about Haye, I doubt very much he will go out all guns blazing against a lesser oppopent. Bottom line is Wlad wanted another fight this year, few will fight him, Derek happens to be the British and Commonwealth champion even if he's only had 14 fights. He also has a mouth and can hype a fight, this is his chance to get some exposure, the British public know Wlad and will have their own opinion on him depending or not on whether they like/believe him or David Haye. I'm from England and can I just say I would be delighted to have the Best Heavyweight of our era over to fight in this country, sure I'd prefer it to be against Haye but Del Boy has balls and I applaud him for taking this fight and fully expect him to give it a good go. Thanks

Gaye is very cautious about his opponents. He will find a way to face another hopelss opponent.

No I don't think so. I think there are better fights than this to be made by Wald. We know that Haye & Povetkin won't fight Wald. If Valuev was not out at the moment with a injury (Cant remember what is was?), I don't think he would fight Wald either. Who should he fight though? If the top opposition won't fight you what do you do? You then have to fight unprepared (Young) fighters or over the hill (Way past it fighters).

Good points. I still don't think Chisora is a good fight at this time for Wald. Mabye after Chisora has a few more fights. Then as well who should Wald fight? Most either will not fight or already have a planned fight. So who should Wald fight? I don't have a good answer to that. I do like the fact that Wald does try to fight more often then other fighters.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist but you may be on to something but not for opposition purposes maybe Wlad is hoping if he can stop the guys that Haye can get a decent payday from that maybe he can corner Haye into taking his deal at the price K2 is offering instead of giving Haye the PPV split he wanted.

******ed. Haye was never gonna fight Chisora. Haye hates Frank Warren and Chisora has no drawing power anywhere. Wlad wants Chisora cos he fits the profile of fat overmatched bum very nicely.

If you read my post Davo I'm very critical of the K2 promotions and the crap that they got thier fans believing but I'm not even that hard on them.

Much more credible? Name four who would be available to fight on that date.

Close fight but Toney was rightful winner. Most people didn’t score the fight they just repeat what announcers said

He outboxed Peter and made Rahman quit, in that same time period too.

But whatever, **** opponent for Wlad but at least he is keeping busy.
