well the people he should fight
    This content is protected
    fight him

    in order of preference

    1) Haye
    2) Valeuv
    3) Povetkin

4-6 are better than Chiscora fight , but i feel bad making a list after the top 3, because no one really deserves a shot...
    4) Ademek - Wlad will wreck him, total mismatch, but good scalp on resume
    5) Solis- Hasnt earned **** , but always nice to beat up an undefeated prospect
    6) Chagaev- he shut the dude out and beat him up all fight- rematch would look pretty much the same

anyone making cases for dimentrinko, meehan, chambers, timur, tony thompson ect...are grasping for straws........
no not arreola either...hes proven to be lazy and lame....

That's the biggest disappointment. People that Wladimir should and want to fight are not willing to face him. They will avoid him at any cost making silly excuses.

Chisora is about 10 years too young to be a Haye opponent.

well, if you are gonna rewrite the record books and pretend hes won everytime he didnt, no point in a debate. while wlads next opponent is a crap fight.....the fact alone he kod danny williams stands out more than a KO of mathew greer with 12 fights

but you act like beating oquendo by the skin of your teeth is some kind of big accomplishment...... even if he ko'd him...he still has a **** record for the last 5 years..... toney was ****ing great and a legend up until 2002-2003..now hes a side show talking **** and never backs it up.....its great when you talk **** and kick their ass...but when you get fat, lay on a guy for 12 rounds and pot shot....YAWN

His "Nc" with Rahman is highly debatable, even WBC seemed to think that because after the fight they raised Toneys ranking in top-5 and dropped Rahman out of the top-10. WBO also lifted Toney over Rahman

Also 90% people who watched first Peter fight know Toney beat him that night

The fact that Toney have been top-20 in heavyweight division, in last 7 years weights more than beating shot Williams

No I didnt I said it was better than beating shot Williams and Sexton.

just who do you want a guy with at the time 12 or 13 wins to fight? he beat shot guys? wow, thats kinda what guys with 13 fights do when climbing to the top.....

toney being in the top 20 (sorry he aint been in top 20 in a while)
that doesnt get him life time chances to fight for a title

the fact remains in the last 6 years...

    toney has

sometimes you have to earn ****, and he hasnt earned anything, excpept a good tap out after 90 secs :rofl

When Haye fought Valuev it was to make himself the only barrier to unification and hence gain leverage in negotiations with the Klitschkos.

Now Wlad fights Chisora to improve his standing in the UK and to add a revenge aspect to a fight with Haye after Chisora is most likely KOed.

Both poor fights, but neither can be accused by their haters of anything that the other isn't doing.

I think it is pretty much a done deal that Haye and Wlad will fight in the next year or so. Anyone that thinks that Haye is truly ducking Wlad must be very naive. I do however think he has avoided them in the short term so that he can make more money off it, but the fight will still get made, this kind of behaviour is not unique to Haye and is most definitely not new to boxing.

I don't think the Audley fight is anywhere near a decent fight for Haye, but he is going to make a **** load of money off it, and given that he was so concerned about the allegedly poor contract terms with the Klits it does make sense to set himself up financially for life with an easy opponent. Then he can go into negotiations with the Klits without so much to lose by gambling his career on 1 fight.

nope, sorry....youre trying to find someone to justify this bull**** haye has pulled to be some kind of master plan.....the dude signed to fight 2 times...and set every rule to his way the last time and wlad gave him everything the he wanted....haye went silent for months after negotiations
and after wlad quit waiting, and signed to fight peter..haye rises up from his safe house and starts his usual banter. :-(
    refresh you memory....

Haye called him out for a long time, said he fight him for nothoing, beat both brothers in the same year, bring excitnent to the heavyweight divison because they are so boring, clean up the division.... blah blah
ive watched boxing live since tyson was beating up mitch green....
it was a fact back then spinks was scared of tyson, bruno was scared, seldon was terrified....but they had balls to get in the ring....
keep defending that ***** if you want....and watch that youtube video ...thats why haye is hated...big mouths are funny and cool when backed up...

To put my comments into context I am a Wlad fan as well as a Haye fan. I don't think it was ever Haye's original plan to do what he as done, he probably just realised he can do a lot better for his career, with much lower risk, by fighting a few cans first and then getting in the ring with Wlad. I don't think it was ever Wlad's plan to fight Haye until he realised that there was more interest in that fight than almost any other that he could make. Now he sees the value in building up this fight (hence fighting Chisora) and he probably feels that it will be a relatively easy night when he does eventually face Haye.

I will happily bump this thread when the time comes to remind you that it was obvious that the fight would eventially be made regardless of all the crap that is happening between now and then. You can call Haye what you want now, but you should be prepared to eat humble pie when I bump this thread. Unless either fighter changes drastically in this space of time I expect Wlad to get the KO in the mid-late rounds after a couple of difficult moments earlier in the fight.

I certainly dont want them to fight world champions, after beating couple of bums.

According major sanctioning bodies he was, just before he signed in UFC this summer. My guess is that he will be ranked back in top-20, after he fights one match.

Toney has been in the upper echelons of heavyweight division without getting the shot to fight Wlad.

Also he has only one real defeat in his entire heavyweight resume

Well at least he wasn’t bounced around by 40 years old golfer, in his own environment
