Anybody's resume can be torn up if you try. Big deal.

We might not see title defence hugfests on bouncy ring for a while. Maybe indeed last of his breed

So what? Are you forgetting we're talking about heavyweights? Lennox Lewis got sparked by McCall and Rahman. Joe Louis got sparked by Schmelling. They're still probably the best HWs ever.
Denying Wlad who didn't lose a single round in 10 years is pissing against the wind. You look silly and nobody can take you seriously. And it wasn't a schooling as much as it was a staring contest and an absolute dud of a fight.

If you lose 8-4/9-3 on the cards in your own backyard as an A-side champion while barely landing a punch all night, you've been schooled. Unless you believe Wlad's later excuse that he "chose to lose". It was also only boring if you watch it after knowing the result, it was high drama at the time as Wlad had been in control against every opponent for a decade and increasingly needed a KO as the fight was slipping through his grasp.

Wilder-Washington and Wilder-Szpilka were similar: people who watched them live found them exciting, not so much when you know the twist.

So if you are undefeated it automatically makes you good? Also McCline wasn't undefeated when Wlad fought him. Also you type prime McCline like some how that makes McCline better. David Haye wasn't undefeated when Wlad fought him. Chris Byrd wasn't undefeated when Wlad fought him.

Ibragimov was undefeated. You know why he was undefeated because the best wins of his career were against a old fat Shannon Briggs and a old Holyfield. Neither fight did he look impressive. Chagaev was a decent fighter but nothing special. Povektin was a known steroid cheat. Pulev has 29 wins and 14 kos which pretty pathetic for a man his size. Pulev is a decent guy but again nothing special. David Haye was a decent guy but again who did he really beat a heavyweight? Chris Byrd had some good wins in his career but it won't change the fact that he was a blown up 160/170 pound guy.

Only a "hate" discredits a fighter resume? You mean how people in here discredit fighters resume all the time? Be it Deontay Wilder, Devin Haney or any other fighter they dislike? Just because you have to lie and make stuff up to try to get your point across and I am factual doesn't mean you are right.

At the end of the day Klitschko was willing to fight every 4 to 6 months going into his late 30s.

For the last few years our Heavyweight "champions":

Wilder - fighting fringe contenders twice a year:headbash

Joshua - fighting once every 9 months, then complaining and wanting sympathy for his lack of experience :duh

Fury - fishing for opponents on boxrec, and refusing to honour not one but two rematch contracts (which he signed) :deal:

Wlad was not the last of a dying breed, there are still plenty of boring, basic, robotic, uncharismatic, fouling jab-and-grabbers in boxing today.

The big problem with Wladimir's era and I've said it before, he would never fight Vitali which is understandable since they're brothers. But knowing the two best Heavyweights could never fight eachother, made the era boring to watch. As most of the other Heavyweights of that era, were uninspiring and not on Wladimir's level which made it dire to watch.

Wlad was a one of a kind a rare blend of speed, skill, and bone crushing power

    His biggest wins were, imo

    chagaev
    Povetkin
    Ibragimov

As I recall, all three were undefeated title holders when he fought them

he controlled the division for over a decade……. you don’t see that very often

Agreed his resume is often underrated...

But I do agree with this too. Austin, monte, Mercer, rahman, are not noteworthy scalps imo.

But regardless... Wlad has some good wins against prime fighters who even have shadows entering this era.

To this day Haye is the only one to demolish Chisora in such a manner. And a shell of Povetkin ko'd Whyte.

Dying alright. About 100,000 Ukrainian men have been slaughtered in the US proxy war vs Russia. The US is going to fight to the last Ukrainian!! They are now conscripting their women.... FFS.
